New Super Mario Bros. U looks fantastic, but that's the only thing that really appeals to me. Pikmin and Nintendo Land look fun, but I don't think I'd ever plunk down $50 for them.
Beyond disappointed, they have so many great teams. We didn't even get teasers of anything that we didn't already know about. Nintendoland didn't cut it from me even though it seems way more interesting than Wii Sports.
This was as bad as the Wii Music year ... next E3 can only be better.
The plan for me was to get a Wii U at launch regardless, but this actually did the opposite. A miracle will need to happen now for me to get it at launch.
I might get one a year or two after launch. Right now there is nothing console purchase worthy to buy it at launch. I've already been burned out by the 3DS.
Staggeringly awful, particularly by Nintendo's own stated goal of appealing more to core gamers. Everything they showed looked like this is going to be Wii all over again.
The only reason why I am still considering it is for first-arty titles. There's bound to be a new Zelda, Mario, DK, etc... Pikman looks nice.
I'm not interested in any XBOX/PS3 titles outside of MVC3 and Fifa (can't play shooters due to motion sickness -- 3rd person included). So just based of historical data, I doubt I'll buy either. So I may just buy a Wii U for first-party and exclusive titles.
Some NintendoLand stuff looks pretty fun though: check out e3.nintendo.com
I dont know, what I can say. I am just so enraged. Nintendo had the best opportunity to show they themselves care for the core-Gamer.
A new metroid, F-Zero, Starfox, even Kid Icarus, SSBB... Just show some glimpses.
Instead they show 10 minutes of Nintendisneyland.
They show a f-ing minigame....
