it happened 5 seconds ago. We know what Big Picture mode is gonna be since a while ago, and we now know there's a beta in early september.

So essentially September is an entire Steam makeover. Community Update, Big Picture Mode, creative software, and possibly Greenlight. That's pretty great.

Nope. Big Picture Mode was announced more than a year ago and nothing else was said. People were awaiting more info for a long time and now we know that there's a beta of it coming up in September.

There is no more info available other than what I posted (and when there is, I will edit) and these are news many people (including ones who werent necesarelly checking the steam thread at this moment) were expecting for a long time. I dont see the issue :/ if someone even mentioned something like "HEY GUYS ALAN WAKE 2 CONFIRMED" with no details people would still make a thread, and rightfully so.

You could have at least linked to the big picture mode info on the steampowered website.
That way people that aren't familiar with what big picture mode is have an idea of what to expect.
