Wait what....living under a rock moment. NFS Most Wanted is a full new release? Holy shit, this completely passed my radar. All this time I thought it was just the older version re-made in HD released for the PSP and 3DS or something.

EDIT: Watched some vids, read some previews. Yeap, it will be mine.

It's basically Burnout Paradise 2 :) looking awesome, will be grabbing it on Vita. Almost complete port, just sligtly less traffic and only 4 player online instead of 8.

Pretty immense. Seeing as how Burnout Paradise is still my fave arcade racer this gen, and NFS Most Wanted is my favourite of all the NFS games as well. Pretty much the perfect marriage.

Man I've really been out of the gaming loop lately.

Yeah crazy considering how good it looks and the fact that the Vita is crying out for a decent arcade racer. This thing should be getting pushed like hell by Sony if not by EA as it really does look something special.

Lol, they seem to think Layton as a whole is a 7 serie, which translates easily into a 8 in the real world

heh, I'd probably give all the Laytons the same score as well. Like them all the same amount!

This comes out next week, the Christmas issue will be out just after the American launch. But it doesn't matter as they'll most likely publish Wii U reviews on their site first.

Umm, nope, you're thinking of NFS The Run, which was shit. Although having said that... google returns a few results with Criterion and Frostbite 2 engine, maybe you're right after all. I thought Criterion rolled their own engine again like they did for past games (NFS Hot Pursuit and Burnout Paradise)...

Meh.

EDIT - should not have doubted myself, interview with one of the Criterion devs states it's a modified Hot Pursuit engine, I thought it looked a little bit too nice for Frostbite =0)
