The creator of The Neverhood (and SkullMonkeys, Earthworm Jim, and more) posted a tweet announcing that the new game he is working on will be coming to Kickstarter on May 28th. This game will be similar to The Neverhood, but won't have the same characters since he actually doesn't own the rights to them. The soundtrack will also be done by the same guy: Terry S. Taylor. I really can't wait for more information and possibly a trailer for the game. I've really enjoyed his previous games.

This is great news. I'll definitely contribute what I can to the project.

Still hoping to see Neverhood on GOG or something one day.

Yeah, I wish I could get Neverhood to play on my computer without doing anything nefarious. I think it would be perfect if they ported it to iOS or Android. I still have my copy of SkullMonkeys for Playstation and I bought the Imaginarium soundtrack along with the Return to the Neverhood CD.

It looks pretty cool. They have a bunch of different digital and physical rewards. The goal is $900,000.

Woah! The production values look pretty great so far without any funding. Mike Dietz and Ed Schofield, the guy who did the soundtrack for Neverhood and Skull Monkeys and a pretty good list of voice talent. This already looks excellent.
