Namco Bandai is taking the Super Robot Taisen formula and making a similar crossover with anime heroines. Super Heroine Chronicle is a strategy RPG in development for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3.

Characters in Super Heroine Chronicle will have toon rendering so expect cel-shaded graphics. Shinichiro Otsuka (Blue Roses, Eternal Poison), Satoshi Urushihara (Growlanser), and Toru Minazuki (To Heart) are artists for the game.

Super Heroine Chronicle plays like a traditional turn based strategy RPG where you move on a map and attack each turn The direction you attack can damage the battlefield and change the terrain. Characters have combination attacks too.

It sounds like Super Heroine Chronicle will have an amusing story since the setting takes place in a school in Akihabara that’s underneath a dome.

The sad thing is, as a diehard Super Robot Wars fan, I would totally play an SRW-style crossover game with anime heroes like Vash the Stampede, Lupin or Guts in it. But that would be something that could potentially sell in the West, so we all know Namco will never do it. :[

Bring on the creepy upskirts and screechy voices, I suppose...

What a crap roster. I find it funny how both Aria and Louise are on the list when they are pretty much the same damn character. Only difference is one uses guns and one uses magic.

Also, neat, batshit insane Rena made the list.

The only reason I would play this is for Louise from Zero no Tsukaima F. I admit, I enjoyed the anime although Saito and not Louise was the best character.

Not really , she has more work sure but she must also have teh money that comes with it.
Also she has ( aside from her tsundere characters ) a wide range so she will pull it off without trouble.
