This thread is meant purely for voting on the LEGO GAF Custom Model Contest #4 please keep any and all discussion in that thread in order to keep some order. Including questions to the voting rules, ask them in the other thread please only cast your votes here.

Voting Times
You will be able to cast your vote till
Sunday 2014-03-02 1800 CEST.
The results will be announced as soon as I get round to evaluating all the votes.

Voting rules
Every voter has exactly 6 votes:
- one worth 3 points
- two worth 2 points
- three worth 1 point
You give your favourite Model 3 points the two runners up 2 points each and have another 3 points to distribute amongst the other entries.
By what measure you rate the entries is entirely up to you.

Please use the template posted below for casting your votes, that way I can easily copy and paste them into my automated excel sheet. Just replace the zeros with the points you are giving the relevant model.

Voting for your own entry is allowed but will undoubtedly be frowned upon by most

Editing your vote is not allowed think before you post, once I have copied your votes into my list they are final. Also it should go without saying, every member only gets to vote once.

I take it back, I think having lots of votes is kinda neat, since there are so many good models you just want to pay respect to.

Also, not sure why you would allow to vote for your own model, I mean, yeah I know it's frowned upon, but why give the option?

And lastly, are non-participants allowed to vote? I would encourage more participation, and say yes, but that's up to the committee, I guess.

Really awesome stuff guys. I particularly like the animals. The colors were against you in the bird and bugs, but you all made them stand out.

Oh man, I didn't read the OP and the list reminded me of a music board I'm on where you just add 1 point to the song that's your favorite on the album, so I just assumed this would work the same, haha. I feel so dumb right now. I'll edit my post when I get home.

So, now my wife is bummed that we didn't enter the contest, especially after seeing the LEGO movie. Any chance there'll be round #5 shortly after voting here is done?

If it were up to me, I'd have these things be much more simple, casual, and more often. I was going to say shorter as well, but actually I do see the benefit of a slightly extended period, as people need to acquire the sets and have enough time to try a few things.

You need a balance of time to assure you get enough entries, but that also people will stay interested and focused.

Maybe we can start discussing what sets could be valid. Have Europe received the jungle creatures or furry friends sets yet?

I just thought a really cool next challenge could be something slightly more free form - like choose any three mixel sets and make something. Then there's some decision in the set choice, but it's still somewhat limited.

It was suppose to be any mix of the 3 new small Creator sets but they hadn't been released everywhere at the time.

Yah.

The new mixel sets look super interesting though. I wonder if it will take off big like the minifigs have, and people will want to get the original series.

I'm guessing though, that Lego is in such a high popularity at the moment, there probably won't be a shortage of people who get them.
