Looks boring as fuck. Gameloft pretty much has the brick breaking games on mobile all sewn up.

Itagaki probably needs more financing to help him finish Devil's Third. So he's hoping for some quick Flappy Bird style success to bring in the monies. Maybe.

Well...it's Itagaki, haven't played any game of his since classic Ninja Gaiden 2. So...I'll get it if I can.

I think it's legit. It's covered by Japanese press, and Regrounds has released a smartphone game before this - Zalive. It was developed by Kazuki Motosa, an ex-Team Ninja animator. It's probably a small dev comprised of people who know Itagaki personally and they just asked him for some design help on this.

Not sure what is more sad. The fact that he's working on an Arkanoid clone or the fact that it doesn't even look like a good Arkanoid clone. lol

Ha ha ha, wow. You should've added those links to the OP. There's so much weird crap going in mobile games I wouldn't have been surprised if this was fake.
