I feel like this constantly happens:
-Read uneventful (but possibly weird) first post of thread.
-Read the sort of boring first page of normal responses.
-See the thread has grown 20+ pages later in the day.
-Too lazy to read but inevitably go to last page to see the aftermath.
-First post on page (or within the first 10 posts) is a graceful and amusing summary by Sir Lionel Mandrake.

This shit happens so much I feel like I have a Mandrake sense; the same way Spiderman has a Spidey sense. Thank you Mandrake and thank you Mandrake sense.
