The more Ratchet & Clank the better. I've been looking forward to a PS4 iteration, of any kind, remake/reboot or whatever.

I'm really not interested in a remake. Reboot, sure, but I'm satisfied with the HD versions of the PS2 games.

its because the movie is rebooting the first game's story. i think its essentially the licensed tie in, not to sell it short.

More R&C is great. I was hoping for a new entry, but this is cool.
Yeah, definitely getting a PS4 for this and all the better third party releases.
Funny thing is that their other game Sunset Overdrive is really the only thing tempting me to the xbone (since MS seems to not care about Rare at the moment), but I think that can hold off for longer and I'll just stick with Insomniac on the ps4 for the time being.

R&C1? Hardest one. If you really have to do a remaster at least you could choose a less difficult game, insomniac! Like, 3rd game?

Ugh, Johnny Test has retroactively ruined Ratchet and Clank for me...if I closed my eyes I'd swear I was watching that damn show.

Sell your PS4 then. That conference was just great. And what do you plan on doing without your PS4? Beast PC then? We have TGS and more coming up. It's still only 2014 dude.

So, you are telling me that people who worked on the PS2 tittles and the Future Series are back making Ratchet and Clank again?! ....Welp, now I really gotta get a PS4 in the future

I wonder what exactly are they going to change up though; I expect gameplay from the Future Series/Nexus to be the backs gameplay here but the fact it is a 'reboot' so to speak really opens the doors for some great innovation for the series. Expanded use of Ratchet's wrench (maybe have that also upgrade like the weapons), deep leveling-up system for the weapons, new gameplay for Clank, really vivid worlds to explore, branching paths within levels and the return of the extra moons from A Crack in Time could really make this game shine.

The announcement for this game was poorly done. It leaned way too heavily on the movie.
If one wasn't paying attention, it's as if there was no ;legit remake of the first game coming to PS4.

remakes are meh,i prefer a new game.
Sony Pictures was basically forced to sell all Spider-Man merchandise rights to Disney. It would've been weird to see Sony do a Spider-Man anyways, since it's still a licensed property.
