I post occasionally.

I lurk more on GAF than elsewhere because my opinion dissents a lot from what GAF believes on a lot of subjects, and I've seen what happens to those who are against the flow.

Pretty much. Though I go through waves where I'm more sociable/active at times.

A side-effect of GAF's strength in being de-cluttered from having too many sub-forums is that it moves very quickly. I'm more comfortable posting in slightly smaller communities.

Lurked for 7 years before deciding to make an account. There was a period in 2009 where Gaf had ads that kept redirecting me to an anti-virus site, so I stopped going for a year.

I just started being more active recently. I usually post if I have something to say or have a question.

Yeah I mostly just post in the RetroGAF threads. I still apparently have made over 4000 posts though, which is more than on most forums I've been a member of.

In general, probably not within OT/Gaming forums.
I lurk a lot of off topic community threads hard though. Seldom posting in them despite following the conversation closely.

I lurked for about 9months before I joined. I post slowly until i was a full member, Now I post consistently and frequently across a few communities and both boards.

You know...lurkers aren't really going to post in here.

I lurk more on the gaming side unless it's a game I'm either heavily invested in or has piqued my interest. Btw, I do have a higher post count, but most of those are in a community thread.
