Spa worker named Dong arrested over ‘happy ending’ massage

That’s one way of helping customers relax.
A worker at a spa in Gramercy Park became a walking stereotype for sleazy massage parlors — when she offered to top off the rub-down with a $30 hand job, police sources said.
The masseuse, named Dong Wei — pronounced “Dong Way” — allegedly haggled for a price before offering the happy ending at the spa on East 23rd Street and Lexington Avenue at around 5:45 p.m. on Aug.14 , the police sources said.
Wei, 29, of Flushing was charged with prostitution.
A manager at the spa called it a misunderstanding.
“I talked to her — she did nothing,” Ricky Wang,35, told The Post.
“She doesn’t speak English… She didn’t say yes or no. At our spa, we don’t do anything prostitution,” said Wang.
The undercover officer solicited her for the sex act, she said.
Several other police officers were waiting outside during the massage, which took place in a private room, she said.
Three other employees at the spa were also busted for performing massages without a license, according to police sources. They include Xiu Ling Fu, 37; Jian Yi Gao, 26; and Qingling Chai, 36.
Wei couldn’t be reached immediately on Wednesday.

Ny Post for ya!

I'm not really sure that's the best use of cop resources to be honest

It's a cherry position for the officer of the month. People compete for the privilege. I mean that's why they had to make a law in Hawaii to make it illegal for the cops to have sex with the women and then arrest them for prostitution later. Because that's what they do.

anyway, they arrested her for her own good, because she might have been there against her will or something.

edit: NYPost is a Murdoch owned tabloid..why didn't I know that, like immediately?

Don't be messing with The Donger.

Quick story before I hop off this can. Think I've told it here before. Worked with a Jehova during college. Dude went for a massage somewhere in Ventura while traveling to Santa Barbara. Got offered a happy ending and he called the police on the place after leaving.

Dude was straight scared about the whole ordeal when he got to UCSB too. Said he had to point out the person at one point from the back of the police car too. Fun times... not for that parlor though.

So is this another topic where people just make fun of names from different cultures?

I'm not making fun of them, they're perfectly fine names. But it's funny in the context of the story. John is a fine name. In a story where a man named John is arrested for stealing toilets, it would be funny.

You need a license to give massages?

Also whats the difference between an illegal massage parlor and a legal erotic message parlor?

Except names like Dong and Wang have a history of being poked fun at because, well, yeah. If anything, it's a bit too played out.

Oh good, every day I worry that someone might walk into a massage parlor looking for a handjob and actually receive one. Well done officers.

haha, asian names!!

haha get it uts cuz theri name means penis in english wow haha

If you don't think the NY Post would have also had a field day with someone named Richard, Dick, Johnson, or Peter in this story... then you don't know the NY Post. Groan-worthy puns are the NY Post's calling card.

To get good at massages, not to be approved to give massages.
And what did you think they gave you at the end?

A handshake and a pat on the back? It's like any other kind of school.

Guess what? Barbers and supposed to have licenses, too.

The undercover officer got some sweet relief. Surely there were cameras around, so what happens to them now, go off to a different undercover beat?
