Major Famitsu next week (36 pages of Marvelous, 21 pages of Bandai Namco)

Next Week's Famitsu:
-36 pages of new Marvelous games.
-21 pages of Bandai Namco games. This is part one of a two part feature that will continue in the week after.

Next Week's Dengeki:
-50+ pages of coverage about Sony event. I didn't put this in the title since presumably a lot of it will be covered in the actual event.
-Dengeki will also have a "super scoop" (thanks mao2)

Feel free to set up your hype and/or pre-disappointment engines.

I think the next Famitsu issue is a double-issue, isn't it? I remember it from the Pokkén announcement.

But yeah:

1) Marvelous = at least Senran Kagura, probably Kinki no Magna too.
2) Namco : Pokkén. Famitsu actually announced that when they announced the livestream.

Hopefully a lot of it is interesting. Next week is probably the period when we'll hear the most of anything of interest directly or tangentially related to this year's TGS.
 
Was going to post this in the SCEJA Press Conf. thread.

There is a little excerpt about the Marvelous feature: "From that title to this title, there are plenty of high impact titles."

Edit: Also, I'd expect Estival Versus. Takaki retweeted the SCEJA Press Conference 2014 link when it was announced. My guess is PS4/PS Vita. It's already confirmed PlayStation multiplatform.
 
Is the Marvelous special just for games yet-to-be-announced or is it for both announced and unannounced games? We all know SK:EV is there (and it'll be announced on Monday, during Sony's pre-TGS conference), but what else? What could they announce, brand new? If their special includes already known stuff, I can see Kinky no Manga, Bakumatsu...but what else?

Maybe a new Valhalla Knights?What are other Marvelous titles that haven't been released for a while?
 
I'd be in heaven if Namco announces Ridge Racer 8 and / or Ace Combat 7 for this current gen of consoles, meaning PS4 / Xbox One.
 
I want Bandai Namco Games to announce Ridge Racer 8 but it'll never happen. :( Anyway, SCEJA Press Conference 2014 is just 5 days away. Can't wait!

It's possible, actually.

We've already seen cases where a new SRW title was announced right after another was just released. In the case, it could be

1) A new SRT for 3DS (UX came out in 2013, so it'd be 2 years, which is a timeframe...I've seen quite a few times for 3DS iterative titles, so far)
2) SRT Z3 part 2 for PS3 and Vita...but this could be announced a bit later (Part 1 was announced in December, for an April release)

Yeah. I guess the more likely option is that after the release of PS3 version they announce PS4 port with some extra content like with Vesperia (X360->PS3) and Graces (Wii->PS3).
 
That Dengeki special sounds masive, hopefully this means plenty of announced japanese games from TGS for once?
Or maybe they just overhype everything since they're a Sony mag.

Aren't they publishing that F2P Highschool DXD game on Vita?

Story of Seasons came out too recently to announce another one. That Kinki No Manga game is from the Neverland staff that Marvelous absorbed, so RF is probably out too.

I dunno, isn't it the fifth anniversary of Arc Rise Fantasia? I remember some new thing happened this year with that game. Maybe a port? Maybe more Vanillaware ports too?
 
50+ pages gives me hope that it's going to be a pretty serious event. Hopefully we'll see a few JRPG's at least on the scale of Persona or Tales (*hint hint*) as well as Gravity Rush 2.
