So I'm aware I shouldn't post scans, right? Anyway, be aware the scan that is going around online has major One Piece spoilers.

From nintendoeverything url at the end of this post:

amiibo support is coming to One Piece: Super Grand Battle! X. Bandai Namco has revealed that the functionality will be used to unlock special costumes in the game. A Jump scan shows Luffy wearing Mario and Luigi costumes, Sanji wearing a Fox outfit, and Zoro in a Link costume.

So it seems this opens the gates for more 3rd Parties using Amiibos for unlocks, how cool is that? Even if Namco Bandai is the developer of Smash this is something that makes me really excited.

This is also not only the first 3rd party game, but isn't this also the first 3DS game to support amiibos?

Now see, THIS is a cool way to implement them, as the costumes are much cooler here since it's a crossover compared to, say, Mario Kart 8. Not to mention I hope this means we'll see other 3rd party developers doing this.

I was thinking the same thing. Ace as Mario would've made more sense given the fire coming out of Mario's hands and Ace's fire powers.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Nami & Robin as super busty versions of Peach, Rosalina, Lucina, Robin, Samus, Zero Suit Samus, etc.

Chopper dressed up as Yoshi would be wonderful, though.

Seconded. I haven't been much for Amiibos mostly because there hasn't been any worthwhile uses for me, but this definitely is a good start.

As someone who's WAYYYYYY behind One Piece, I hope some non-spoilerish screens show up.
