Anyways.. Does anyone feel like their localization wishes will be made at E3

I hope so. Because the game looks really, really awesome. It has my hyped only due to the PvP options.

Hopefully Sony Bend will have something dope. Gravity Rush 2 and Uncharted I think.

I'd choose Infamous over Uncharted, to be honest. The last thing Sony needs to do is release another 2 fucking Uncharted games in the same month. God, I still don't know what they were thinking.

Bend is making a PS4 game.

They still have plenty of time to finish a PSV game before going to the PS4. They haven't announced anything, so their PS4 games probably isn't that far in development.

Playing SteamWorld Dig.

It's alright so far. Maybe I'm just burnt out a little bit since I beat Super Motherload on PS4 a few weeks ago and it's a very similar "mining" game.

Because I wrote the list. I am pretty up front about what I'm interested in. I'm willing to draw a distinction between making a list of games stating my level of interest and someone else quoting the list and making a sidelong comments about the author. Those are quite different.

And if every interaction I have with someone is of that type, then, frankly, I'm not going to cut them much social slack.

We were a pretty insular group in the weekly PSN threads, but we were also wide open for new folks. In these threads? Not so much.

I like that you do give your interest level. I don't make purchase decisions entirely in a vacuum (well not often anyway), and games that I'm wavering on, I find it interesting to understand what the community is thinking.

Vita-GAF, Nyko Power Grip or the official portable charger? Grips are nice but not important. I only want the power, but the portable charger costs nearly twice more. If they add roughly the same power might as well get the grips.

Or a generic portable charger that will charge your vita, smartphone, tablet etc for less than either of them? The only caveat is that for the original vita, you need a galaxy TAB USB converter to switch the pins around. I bought one from ebay for a few pence, and my latest mains powered USB charger actually has a TAB socket

I haven't used the power grip but I have one of the official chargers and it's a decent piece of kit. There are probably better options though, it can be kind of expensive. On the upside the charge lasts forever, and it takes USB so you can charge pretty much anything off of it.

I got more than 6 hours, perhaps around 7 hours or so, playing Toukiden with full brightness and wi-fi on, playing MP, with Nyko Power Grip.

It sounds like a SOLD if I actually had the money to get it lol xD.

We are not that bad D:

Only Baekshi had that pasive-agressive actitude. The rest of the people were fairly polite. I was, but I think you didn't read my post because it was an edit and I didn't quote your "Drop" xD

What I said there is that you should give a try to DWNext if you have it due to PS+ (it was a EU freebie, dunno about US). Dynasty Warriors is not for everyone, sure, but probably for that reason reviewers are usually quite harsh with them. It's better than the 65 that they usually get on Meta imo.

I personally like your posts. And I understand that Metacritic is one of your sources of information. People can rant, but you can't go blind and simply buy games unless you have a lot of money or you know it's going to be totally incredible (I think I'm going to do a Persona 5 media black-out, but that's because Persona Team track record is like totally awesome for example). I think it's a perfect viable option as long as you don't limit your opinions to Metacritic (getting a bit more of info for other places).

Any hope forResident evil and fallout for vita at E3?
Personally Capcom can keep Resident Evil where it is, but i really want Fallout.
Make fun of me if you want but imo sooner or later we'll see a western open world RPG on Vita(maybe the next late port after Borderlands 2?).

Imo if Borderlands 2 will sell well some western developer will consider making Vita version of one of its games.

I'd love this, but I can't see it happening. Those things don't come with small budgets, and the big boys haven't been too willing to take those kinds of risks for the Vita. :(

Luftrausers is good enough that I paid full price for it on PC after I got the PSN version.
Steamworld Dig is okay, but I wouldn't buy it again on another platform. And I don't even know if I'll go back for trophy/achievement cleanup.

I did the same! Brilliant game, quite hard. If you're about to play it for the first time, the lag is you getting hit.

I'm quite enjoying Steamworld but still early on.

Borderlands 2 is already an open world FPS/RPG, it's not that different from Fallout 3, and Fallout 3 is basically a sci-fi Elder Scrolls.
As i already said if Borderlands 2 will sell well i can totally see a western open world(RPG i hope) being one of the next late ports(if there will be), but more importantly some western developer could consider Vita.
The problem is if Borderlands 2 will sell well...

lol baekshi, when did you rise to the negative stardom of Toto and perhaps Takao :/
I still need to get back at him for trolling me.

I'm being realistic, honest and passive-aggressive.

I take everything serious also.
I love you baekshi!
Wait THAT'S Freedom Wars? Is this the Vita or PS3/PS4 ver.?

There is only 1 version. The Vita one.

That's actually pretty nice. I might buy one when it turns up on a store. The demand for that grip is so high here.

So I just borrowed KH 1.5 ReMIX from my friend. Is it me or is the camera better and I don't remember using triangle to interact with stuff before.

I hope you like it. Just one tip, use the owl and use adrenaline packs actively. The latter is invaluable... if you're at half life in the middle of combat, the adrenaline pack will not only heal you, but slow time for a bit as well. Most people I've seen that "hate" the game simply forget about these two mechanics and die over and over.
I was honestly wondering yesterday if reviewers just didn't use the game's mechanics. I don't get the hate for it at all. The only gripe I really have through 5 chapters is the long periods of time between enemies at times. It's got some pacing issues. Otherwise it's nowhere near as bad as I expected.

I haven't played Steamworld Dig (some day) but I think they're both quite different.

Spelunky is a platformer with randomly generated levels and permadeath. As you play and die you'll learn how stuff works and what's best to do to progress further in the game. Hard but really addicting.

Terraria is a platformer-ish game with randomly generated worlds with a focus on resource gathering, exploration, crafting and building. I'd describe it as Minecraft + Metroid.

They both have demos, so try them. Both are excellent games.

Spelunky is nothing like Steamworld. The only similarity is the focus on getting treasure/loot. There's no Metroidvania aspect and no mining unless you find the mattock.

Terraria is similar in that it has similar mining for resources, but instead of trading them for $ and buying upgrades or finding them in your story progression, you craft things. You can build things, etc. I did think to myself that the mining aspect of SWD evoked memories of Terraria in a way.

Randomly generated levels...I don't know if that's a good thing :/ Terraria seems to be the more interesting game for my tastes but actually neither of them sounds too interesting (for me)... I'm going to try the demos.
Thanks guys! :D

i've said it before and i'll say it again: spelunky is probably the first "randomly generated levels" game to do it right. everything feels cohesive, yet fresh enough to warrant a million play throughs.

*sigh*

Senran Kagura 2 is a direct sequel to Shinovi Versus (which is a direct sequel to Senran Kagura).

Takaki easily offered the words "SK2 will be for 3DS", but he couldn't even say that EV will also be for Vita (albeit multiplat). Someone assure me that it's also for Vita. LOL.

Hey, Playstation Plus works! Dynasty Warriors Next was the first game I played since 2 and I really loved it, so much so that I want 8 XL on launch day.

I'm likely to go with the PS4 version first, but pick up the Vita one later with all its cross-thingies. I do have a question though: If I bought the US version, would the cross-save features work with a UK Vita version? I can get the PS4 version cheaper in the US, but I may wait for a price drop on the UK one if it's incompatible... Or import a US Vita cart.

If this region shenanigans are on a per-game basis, then I may wait to see if anyone tries it before diving in.

I was loving it the day I had it before MGS and InFamous arrived. I'd recommend picking it up before the Plus discount ends (if you have plus).

Playing infamous myself, but I am going to be on a 2 week business trip out of country and am stocking up on Vita games. I was suppose to save Thomas Was Alone, but it was so good I finished it in 2 days lol.

I'll probably go ahead and get it. Thanks!

Does remote play perform worse when you're downloading something? I ask because remote play has been flawless for me since I got my PS4 a few days ago, but today I've been experiencing lag as well as connection issues for the first time. The only difference between now and the last few days is that now I'm downloading a game on PS4 and doing remote play at the same time. I would just pause the download but for some reason you can't do that on PS4.

Considering they are both using WiFi, that is a real possibility if your download is using too much bandwidth.

Same here man, played on ps2 back in 2005 i think and DW:Next is really great. The only thing i hate is that the enemys just spawn in front of you. Hope the ps4 version hide the spawning better.

I can't believe the HMH guys who had their first game on PSP.. thought the PSP is still Sony's latest handheld :/

SCEA - what is wrong with your marketing

Is there any kind of release date at all for Monster Monpiece and Rogue Legacy vita? Both titles have a "Q2 2014" release and have had it for a long time, but Q2 ends on March 31st right? Any chance either of those titles will see release either this week or next?

The people that handled Half Minute Hero on Steam, and Xbox Live aren't the same people that put out the PSP version. XSEED did the PSP version, while Marvelous USA did the ports for other platforms. It's a bit confusing because MarvelousAQL (the Japanese publisher for HMH) owns both XSEED, and Marvelous USA.

As for SCEA's marketing, well, doesn't it first have to exist for there to be something wrong?

I don't know how Q2 is defined exactly, but since there's only four quarters in a year, it at least takes half a year to get to the end of Q2.

IIRC, Q4 is from Nov to end of January. So end of Q2 = end of June?

Ah Ok then, I was thinking incorrectly, but then Q2 should end at the end of April since they are 3 months each.
