My good GAFfers I'm looking for some advice, if possible. All this Dark Souls II hype and the fact I cancelled my Amazon.uk pre-order is driving me crazy so I was considering doing a trade but I never did such thing on the Buy/Sell thread and I'm afraid I get someone that can't be trusted or something similar. I already talked to a couple of GAFfers in private for advice on this:

I'm looking at the price on nuuvem which is 85 R$ meaning it's 27.45€ (according to google)

I could offer any game or games from Steam, bought on Steam itself for 20-25€ and for the remaning amount (2.45€) I could offer Bioshock Infinite Season Pass. I do not own this yet but I'm willing to let it go for a greater good... I also would like to add that I did not paid full price for this Season Pass but only 5€ on Steam during the sale. I've been holding on my Library since I was going to redeem it only after beating the main Story. I would never lie to you and I'm not looking for any sort of profit here.

Can anyone please share their advice? Yes, no? I'm very sorry for the off-topic.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Why not both?

I bought both.

Probably the answer I'm looking for.

All this love for Bloodlines though, I might have to give it a try.

Servizio

I don't really need a tag, but I figured I'd get one to make people jealous. Is it working?
If you have any sort of enthusiasm for Deus Ex, System Shock, Arcanum, Alpha Protocol, contemporary fantasy settings, or just vampires, then a thousand times VtM: Bloodlines.

And yes, get the community patch.

Transformers is very fun but Vampire is the better game of the two. I'd start with Vampire.

High praise coming from someone with an Optimus Prime avatar.

Wait, wait, WAIT. Is Bloodlines on sale somewhere?

I have had the retail version forever, but I NEED it on Steam. One of the best games I have ever played =o.

I believe this is the sale in debate. EDIT: Beaten.

im glad there is an active community, but man, sometimes these modded effects look like theyre from instagram. a little grit is nice.

I'm with you. There's a point for me where too much mod becomes detrimental. I also get waves of nostalgia that drive me to do things from time to time, so that plays a part.

Huh. I bought the Indie Gala monday bundle, including Scourge: Outbreak, and today I have Scourge Project in my library as well. I thought it was just supposed to be the other way around, since that's the only thing that makes sense...

Free delisted game GET!

Oh yeah, me too. Nice.

$19.99 USD here in Australia.

Someone forgot to apply the Bullshit Tax.

You lucky gits.

Aww man. I'm in the UK. I wonder if I can purchase US codes and use them within the UK.

You just need to put in a US address and you can buy all the codes you want. You do have to watch out for the odd region locked game though. Anything published by Deep Silver is usually a no-go.

They tell you it's a 20/10 split when you sell something on the Market

Ah. In the grand scheme of things it accounts for 0.6% of my monthly income from Steam, but given that it only took a few hours to do and it's fun to support as many Steam features as I can, it's definitely worth it. I'm sure more popular games have better trade results.

I was wondering, for any member of HamsterWheelGaf, if there is a program that lowers the quality of games, in effect the opposite of programs like inspector that enhance it.

It's also hard to directly correlate those that purchased the game due to the Steam features such as trading cards, cloud save, achievements, etc.

I know games having those options available have pushed me over the fence on numerous occasions.

I can tell you that the inclusion of Steam Trading Cards plays a big part in my own purchasing decision when buying a game.

So although you're only making a small percentage of your revenue on the actual cards themselves, I would wager that their inclusion in the game has prompted more than a few people to buy the game.

EDIT: Yeah, basically what Grief said.

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
I paid $10.80 for Agarest Zero and managed to make $6.55 of that back with card drops. Not bad.

And Indie Royale The Starry Nights Bundle too.

Indeed, one for GAF then

Yeah, I've been learning quite a bit about the Steam ecosystem and what people expect from a Steam game. I feel like Trading Cards are the very minimum things devs should support since there's no code required on the game side of things.

Big Band is now out for Skullgirls. Make sure you add him to your account if you already own the game. He's free for the next few months.

Check the page for the trailer, or this for some tool assisted awesomeness.

I have to admit, he turned out much better than I was thinking he would based on the initial design.

And Indie Royale The Starry Nights Bundle too.

Thanks, will have to check to see if I own either of those.

Gotta love subsidizing with card monies. :)

Nice. It's a shame that D2P is dicking around with saying that Namco Bandai doesn't want them to release their keys early when every other site where you can "pre-order" a digital key has gotten the go ahead to give out the keys so buyers can pre-load.

Hah, I was just doing an impression of the seemingly easy to impress MC which is pretty much the extent of my knowledge on the game. By most enjoyable do you mean it's bad in a good way, or just good? I'm blank on it.

In a good way. I thought it was a nice simple story with some fun facts about japan. I also enjoyed the humor. I can't explain much but it was definitely a feel good game.
