A lot of people being closed minded about this, this is a good way to inflate the visibility and excitement for something as big but not as well integrated to mainstream media as e3 KEYNOTES.

Its unique, never been done before, its free and best of all no shitty streams. If you have gamer friends, you can make a night of it.

Interesting idea (and free swag too, no doubt), but the only location in my city is the theater that I'm least likely to want to go to/near (Regal Lloyd Cinemas). That said, the fact that Sony is broadcasting it to theaters implies that they have some real good stuff to show this year.
