Damn it, none of the theaters are remotely close to where I live! Whenever there's something cool going on, it never happens anywhere near me.
Atlanta spot is 15 minutes away, so why the heck not. Booked.
That's a reeeeally bad analogy for what this is. It's more like a listening party for an upcoming album... where the band's not actually there... and they only play small snippets of the songs.

If I was hyped more, I'd make the trip from Windsor up there.
However the fact they're putting this on theaters would make you think the complete opposite, so it might be amazing! I feel its slightly different than that more like why do people go see movies at theaters instead of watching at home (but then there's a delay for that, so who knows)
It is stupid. But in a very fun way. It's tempting, and I'm sure the wife would go, but it's in Baton Rouge not New Orleans. Plus my den has a 73 inch tv and beer.
To those going though have fun! I hope the turnout isn't a bunch of assholes.

They're likely using theater screens through NCM Phantom, which are never IMAX.
Also it wouldn't really help anyways since the conference wouldn't be shot in it, beyond having more seats
