Probably the PS forums for the most part. It was also announced on Youtube.

Konami did something similar but in a very small scale, also te event was pre recorded, just one theatre.

This has no precedent

I've heard Sony will be giving away free Morpheus headsets for the lucky people attending the event..
No they won't but I'll be happy if they give me a t-shirt and small gifts

I thought about going to the one in Dallas but half the fun of E3 is the gifs/reactions/meltdowns and server crashes on GAF. I dunno if I could do without that experience. They need a live stream of GAF on another screen for everyone too!

This is really cool but crazy at the same time IMO. I'm pretty sure there will be many using their phone in the theaters to live tweet/text others. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if there are debates in the theaters.... "That sucked!" "That was amazing!" "WOOT!" "Shut up!"

I'll just stick to watching Sony's E3 conference at home (haha).

Really great idea from Sony, I like it. Though I prefer just staying home it definitely helps spread some hype... hope they've got the show to back it up!

I just restored it, but the person had deleted everything, changed the title to "Kyledk05 IS SUCH A FUCKING FAGGOT ASS BITCH rjinaz TOO" (not really sure why he singled you out, but okay), and posted more porn.

Not really sure what to do at this point, so I've taken away edit permissions for randos in order to preserve the info that's already there.

I think you'll see general reactions but don't be expecting debates like on forums in the theater. That whole internet anonymity thing creating aholes thing in effect.

Ahh well dang. He singled me out because I tried to restore the old doc about a hundred times but that idiot just wouldn't give up, so I did.

Heh, I know that's true for others too. I've heard many movie theater stories these past few years (haha).

Very nice idea.
It will be a nice show and very fitting.
Show some first party stuff like Indiana Jones by ND, Penny dreadful the movie by RAD, maybe Crash of the Titan by SMM.
Some third party stuff like Les Misérables by Ubi, Heat by EA, Star war by Acti
End the show with Never ending story by SCEJ.

Given that they're keeping it a secret it's most likely something to do with a thing they're announcing at the show. Probably just some cheap piece of swag for a game being announced at the conference, but it could be something nicer.

I hope Sony organizes the seats by making everyone condense together, rather than a typical movie seating experience. My GF and I might not be able to get to the LA showing until 30 minutes or so beforehand. Last thing I want is us having to be separated because of only single, scattered seating left.
