Finally. But why will miles faint?
He's been begging for this feature since launch.
EDIT: Like BruiserBear with auto sign-in (which is here for preview users, thankfully).

Look at his post history lolFinally. But why will miles faint?
Excellent
Just need preloading now
It's finally happening. All my complaining is going to pay off. Now I just need Sony to patch in a pause download feature, folders and access to library when offline on the PS4 and I'm set.

It's real tough speaking 3 words. I feel your pain.
Miles is exploding
Haha yeah. Awesome news.
Miles is gonna faint.
Miles, post if you are okay!!
Haha, forgot about him. He has been asking this for a while.
All we need now is remote downloading and I'll be content with all of the convenient Xbox One features.
Miles. Talk to us man. You okay?
Look at his post history lol

Took you long enough
Yeah, that library offline thing is weird. It's almost as if it's a remnant of always online DRM..
It can't be that tough to understand my comment. I said "I take a lot of screenshots"
so no, it's not just speaking 3 words, it's speaking those 3 words over and over and over again to get lots of screenshots, like I do, I sometimes take 10 consecutive screens, so thats actually 30 words. Next time reread what you're replying to.
Next time use common sense, there is now a non Kinect sku, obviously they're gonna make it so so you can take screenshots without Kinect.
How's it going to work without Kinect?
It would take far too many button presses, no?
I agree with pre-loading but also HDMI pass-through when system is off. That would be the next thing I'd really like.
Wife is NOT into using Xbox for TV.

access to library when offline on the PS4 and I'm set.
It'll probably be press and hold the menu button to take a screenshot for those without Kinect.
I don't care about those peasants, give me the "Xbox, Screenshot"voice command.
I really hope they don't even try to make it work WITH kinect. The latency on "Xbox, screenshot" is just too long. Make it button only, make it a function as part of the dvr studio as people have suggested, but making it work off a dedicated kinect commands feels like such a waste of time.
I promise you that there will be a Kinect voice command lol. Not every moment you want to screenshot will be fleeting.I really hope they don't even try to make it work WITH kinect. Since double tapping the Xbox button with nothing snapped is currently useless, that might be the best approach.
Not sure what to do if something is snapped though (maybe only voice command will work in that situation)
? what is that?
It has to be something catchier than that. Like Xbox Snap That...or something.
Won't most moments be long gone by the time you've finished saying "Xbox, screenshot", vs the press of a button?
Most effective way imo would be to add a screenshot capture mode inside of Upload Studio.
The PS4 library isn't accessible when you're offline. It's the very last tab on the home screen.
Snap that would be perfect, but Kinect would probably confuse it with the actual snap feature.
What do you mean it isnt accessible while offline? So how do you play them offline?
You can't open the library if you're offline. It says network unavailable, please check your network connection. There's no sensible reason that I can think of for not allowing access to the library when you're offline.
Check it for yourself, go offline, scroll to the last icon on the home screen (library) and select it.
Snap that would be perfect, but Kinect would probably confuse it with the actual snap feature.
I don't have a system but how do you play your games then offline?
Bleh I completely forgot. Um Xbox Pic That?
You play them as you normally would. The games are in both the library and on the home screen as tiles.
I doubt many people ever scroll to the end of home screen to use the library, it's just a pet peeve of mine. There's no reason for it not to be accessible offline, I just don't understand why you need to be online to open it.
Pic that. Hmm, I could see that working. I still think Xbox, Screenshot is perfect.
