Eh, be that as it may, there was some noticeable tearing in one of the gifs. Also, in the gif leading up to that demon, there is some noticeable "lag" (if it can be called such).
Worth pointing out. No need to hide it. Obviously who knows at what point these tidbits were yoinked from?

A shotgun is simply a palette swap of the crossbow. I expect it to work the same.
I'll take any development of plot and character.
I loved playing Demon's Souls, but the complete lack of character, narrative, and plot developments was so disappointing.
It could just be like he's got a crossbow in the left hand.
I would be surprised to see no 'traditional' Souls options.
It's exclusive, DemonNite was talking about it for months and the person who leaked it said it was.
It only took 60 pages of pathetic complaints before a moderator added it to the title . . .
Im saying what until theres actual gameplay to look at instead of webm's from someone's leaked stream that they managed to sit in on. It could be a number of different factors not having to do with the game at all.
I'm just saying Demon's never had a screen tearing problem come launch. No need to hide that and do this concern trolling.

For sure. These leaks aren't representative of anything (just look at the Project Trico trailer).
But I don't think it's trolling, though. Just something worth pointing out. People are a on edge/worried given their really high expectations of this series.

They'll be running these on very powerful PCs. No way it's going to have screen tearing.
Even then, I still agree with you. Who knows at what point these bits of footage were taken from (could be from a proof-of-concept), early footage, work-in-progress, who knows? It may even be the source itself (i.e. the video player was choppy).

There's a time and a place. We don't have footage to compare this to itself yet, either. I'm sure they'll be PLENTY of analysis once we have this footage and some newer footage.

Demon's Souls is a From Software/Sony game...as this is supposed to be as well. Also DemonNite (a user here) has hinted at this for months.

I disagree, not every game needs a protagonist. The Soul series should continue to have as character creator and tell its story through the level design, npcs and text. People who want cinematic story telling with protagonist should try the Uncharted series which I too love, not all experiences should be the same.

It's a leaked 15 second trailer. Do you really think it's appropriate to judge a game's graphics based on a quarter of a minute worth of gameplay that wasn't supposed to be seen by the public?

For those wondering about exclusivity, I'll reiterate my statement from a couple of pages ago... The original leaks have come attached to the message that the game is developed by FROM and Sony Japan Studios. And that it's PS4 exclusive. The leak came with that from the outset. How the fuck is there still any doubt about that piece of it while the rest is so believable? Please don't let wishful thinking lead you to willful dismissal of a major component of these leaks.
