It's not in "full development." Keighley fudged the wording a bit. Layden just said "still in development, still being worked on," which could mean that, in contrast to "full" development, the team might consist of Ueda and two modelers making plants and barrel textures.

I almost broke down at the Uncharted 4 reveal, it felt so right. The timing, the setting was perfect.

That shot in the trailer, what you don't see off to the left... is the kid from Last Guardian, his face also in the water.
They had just finished having the final battle, and Drake killed the kid. And his pet. And woke up, alive, leaving the corpses behind.

Pretty much, the game is as good as dead imo. The next time we hear Sony say anything offical about it wil be to confirm its cancellation.

TGS 2014 is my last hope for TLG. If it isn't going to be shown this year I'm not sure why Shu mentioned it at all last year.
Exactly. The dream (and it was only ever that) of it being at E3 has ended. But I think the confirmation of it being a real game that isn't dead (except in Y2Kev's imagination) is even better.

And it hasn't been Ueda's project in years. If it is released, it probably resembles one of his games in visuals only. Who knows how many times the gameplay's been changed, or the story.
