They are identical. Well i think the Vita has a small exclusive feature that uses the camera i think? Dont quite remember what it was.

The Dark Revenant is great, and I'm amazed any Brandish is coming officially at all, especially in this day and age.

I don't think I'll ever see The Planet Buster or Spirit of Balcan (aka Brandish 2 and 3) but I'm happy that at least this is coming.

Marvelous makes the games while Natsume publishes them in NA. Natsume owns the rights to the name Harvest Moon.

Since Marvelous now has Xseed, theres no need for Natsume anymore. However since Natsume still owns the name, Marvelous/Xseed cant use it. Which is why the new game is renamed Story of Seasons

Meanwhile Natsume is making their own Harvest Moon now

You're right, that's a much better trailer. I thought it looked like shit in XSEED's, but now my interest is thoroughly piqued.

XSEED's also makes it look like a hardass game... which I assume it is, but I suspect that can be off putting to people. I guess they want to get something of the Dark Souls crowd, and admittedly there probably IS merit to that given we're talking the kind of game that's probably in the ancestry of those games, but with a control scheme like that it CAN be intimidating.

alright, in for Shinovi Versus and Brandish. Story of Seasons too but frankly its trailer is undeniably shit.

Brandish is fucking awesome, you should know by now that most games done by Nihon Falcom are amazing(I know you played Celceta at least).

It's a remake of a SNES game, I haven't gone that far into it because my Japanese sucks(the game doesn't have that much text but I was waiting for a localization or fan translation), but it's really really good from what I've played and almost everyone that I know that has finished says it's amazing.

the corpse party trailer is really disappointing... it looks like a generic RPG maker game with a horror theme....

I much preferred the original trailer for the psp which not only had much better music, but also did a much better job of getting me interested and feeling like it wasn't just a generic RPG maker game...

that being said the series is awesome and people should check it out

I will say though the Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed trailer finally got me to at least preorder it since it looks like a decent brawler, ecchiness aside.

First one was on PSP in May 2011 (Japan only) & has a different story, so you won't be lost playing Undead & Undressed.

Honestly, with the game in 3D, the disorientingness of the camera setup is basically a non-factor. I think it works rather well this way. But it is definitely a gimmick of the series, part of its identity.
