I haven't played The Wolf among Us since I bought it after playing the first episode on Family Sharing and for some reason it didn't carry my save over! I shall play it all when that last episode comes out!

gaffers - is divinity: dragon commander a good game? And should I get the deluxe version? If so, how many keys should I pay for it?

It's more like a checklist. :p
Assassins Creed in three years:

Assasins Creed: Shopping List
Dive in the memories of your anchestor Brian who needed some milk and detergent, but when he finally got his fat ass up, the local Templar supermarket had already closed. So he had no choice but to murder every shopmanager and guard the could find to finally get his fucking milk.

Zwischendurch = now and then, basically games for when listening to podcasts and stuff

Don't forget the taking out the garbage DLC, then you have GOTY.

I wouldn't bother with the DDE as the only piece of tangible content it comes with is a single map. As for how much to pay, it was most recently 75% off, so assuming you intend to buy the game the next time it's on sale, I'd say no more than 2.5 (two TF2 keys and a Tour of Duty ticket/CS:GO sticker capsule key). You may be able to find someone who stocked up on spares during the Summer Sale, however people generally do this to sell them for an even higher profit during a full-price period.

Apparently you can identify german spieys by looking at their steam library, they seem always have on random category named in german.

Right, my bad. It's no ture Ubisoft Game if it lacks DLC.

oh what do you know I actually do have a category albeit a default one

I use it for Big Picture. If I havent played Spelunky recently i'd have to scroll all the way through the list with a controller and that's annoying. This way I can just sort through favorites and launch.

its also my favorite game so it checks out

I should do that with Rocksmith 2014, it's the only game I consistently play.

Yes, if a bit rough around the corners. Only if you like behind the scenes documents, soundtracks, and videos discussing game development, and an extra map and skin. The game was $15 recently, so that should be a place to start.

I have no idea what a "Bundle-Zeug" is, but it sounds awesome.

I don't really need a tag, but I figured I'd get one to make people jealous. Is it working?

If you're buying by keys, keep in mind the deluxe edition is region locked so that's probably not an option.

I've heard good things about the game and I found the demo/beta enjoyable enough. The RTS bits felt a bit simple/tedious after awhile, but I suspect you get more overpowered options in the campaign compared to the faux multiplayer bit I played.

How do you set your Steam library to display pictures instead of a list of your library games? That looks neat!

Divinity: Original Sin has some pretty big issues with its interface. For example, to repair your equipment, you need to remove it first. Then you need to find a character who would be willing to repair it*, barter with them, move the equipment into your offerings box and press the repair button. However, the character that is bartering will need to have an appropriate amount in the inventory, otherwise they wouldn't be able to pay for the repairs. You can switch between characters when bartering, but for some reason you can't transfer items (including gold) between them as usual, which means you'll have to close the bartering interface, transfer gold and/or items and then do it again. In other words, it's a mess, like the whole inventory management in this game.

*I actually had to google this one. There is no blacksmith in Cyseal, so I had no idea where to look for an NPC who would offer such services. Turns out any legionnaire on the street can do it if you barter with them, which does not make any sense.

valiant hearts was a weird little game

it's very hard to agree with myself if i like it or not.

like you can't deny it's absolutely gorgeous and just applaud making a game set in ww1 that's not about killing people. the characters were great and it was filled with little moving moments that i think in the end tell a better story than the one on the actual "script". i really love the codex thingie, i love learning those little bits of useless stuff, it's such a good way to give you tools to then look at the images on the screen and add some more meaning to them.

there's also the mega evil german kaiser antagonist dude that's the craziest most jarring shit they could've come up with. what was the point of that character, every time he shows up all the mood that's been built up over the game just flies out the window and only for a shitty revenge story that's as lame as it gets. did this game really need a villain?

and then there are the puzzles, which reminded me a lot of the cave's puzzles, in how making puzzle solving a linear thing turns the whole thing into a tedious walking around bore. broken age has a little bit of this, serious matter games don't work 100% ok with the adventure genre, at least not on my experience, and in the end it gets in the way and just dilutes the whole thing.

i also have a few issues with how easy they let off the french (i mean at one point they're almost praising the french for having colonies ffs) but it does a better job than most at not demonizing the germans every chance they get. caricature baron villain dude didn't help for sure.

valiant hearts is still mostly worth playing, i love everything that makes me cry but i wish it had been a bit tighter, just a shorter game with a bit less puzzling and running around looking for wrenches and rocks.

Has anyone funded the Midora kickstarter? Someone showed me it this morning and it looks like a 2D Zelda game with crafting. I still have to complete a few 2D Zelda games, including (shamefully) A Link to the Past, but I decided to fund it because it does look pretty cool

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I might fund that. My first funding ever.

Btw is it bad that I never play a single YS game and know nothing about it?

why is it that when you look for custom icons you find stuff like this

like what do people actually do with them

are there really people out there that do this just for "general library purposes" or something cause jesus christ

the only thing I find funnier is the notepad file these are probably attached to

for people who attach wii or wii U emus to steam i guess. Ive done it with nes and snes

My categories:
  • unplayed u+s
  • started u+s
  • finished
  • multiplayer unplayed u+s
  • multiplayer started u+s
  • multiplayer finished

Then I use grid view and search bar to filter games accordingly.

(And I just Installed view and uninstall all the games that are confirmed for shit.)

Oooh, I definitely need to make a category for podcast-listening games. I always dig around for them. My library is a mess!
