I only played Warlock and Titan, but I loved the Warlock. Glide is a great traversal and I like their specials. Having said that, they seem fragile compared to the other 2 classes. They're sort of the "glass cannon" of the 3 classes.

Titan was fun but a little less agile and I didn't like their special as much. Play all 3 and see what you think.

A couple things about the Mars map that concern me but ill have to play it to see them in action first-hand. Otherwise, looks great. And once again, it's deceptively small.

I'm more interested in the map on Phobos though....

I find I'm so excited, I can barely sit still or hold a thought in my head. I think it's the excitement only a free man can feel, a free man at the start of a long journey whose conclusion is uncertain. I hope I can make it to the Tower. I hope to see a wizard from the moon and shake his hand. I hope Mars is as red as it has been in my dreams. I hope.

How does the multiplayer deal with player level and items? Does it use the same as from the campaign or is it separate? I missed out on playing in the crucible during the alpha.

Warlock, when you master that double jump it wrecks the other 2 classes, the super also wrecks the other 2 classes, also blink (a move that replaces your glide with a quick teleport dash) will be boss.

damage is normalized but it uses your weapon. If you have a auto rifle you really like its yours to play with in Crucible.

Don't understand how this works. I just tried sign up for the beta via Bungie.net and the site said I will receive an email for "verifcation" but this might take up to 24 hours. I already have a code from Amazon. ... what are they verifying?

Your email address to make sure it's correct. Later on in the day after verifying your email you'll receive a new link to choose platform

Anything you pick up in Single Player can be used in the Alpha. That includes rares/epics/exotics. Player level determines what kind of gear you can equip, since almost all gear has level requirements. Gun damage and armor ratings will be normalized, but stats such as magazine size or reload speed, and special properties that come from Uncommon and higher gear (throw grenades farther, reload scout rifles faster, carry more pulse rifle ammo, etc) will still be in effect.

I've registered two separate beta codes and have yet to receive an email with a beta download code. Is that normal? I was in the alpha, can I use that client when the beta goes live?
