Where did you find this? Have a few friends who are on the fence on the game and being able to get them the beta would be an easy sell I think. (Pushing for them to do the Amazon thing, but they can't be bothered)

EDIT: Now I see it in the other screenshots. Interesting. I didn't even notice that before I selected my console. Guess I'll have to keep my fingers crossed.

I have been following the Best Buy forums almost religiously for updates and the Senior Social Admin has been giving updates for a few days but this is the first time we have got a date.

Cancelled my vanilla pre-order from Gamestop last night and used the credit to buy PSN cards that I then used towards the Digital Guardian Edition. So my beta access is locked in that way.

That said, I just selected my platform for beta codes. I suppose I'll have a few to give away on the 17th.

So um, I know this has probably asked many times but how long do the beta codes take to come from amazon.ca. I ordered this morning but still no code email.

I literally had my code in my inbox before I was able to close the browser on Amazon and open Gmail.

Opposite here. Was super hype before Alpha but the Alpha turned me off a bit. I spent over 25 hours playing and I still enjoyed a few aspects of it, but I don't think its nearly as good as some say.

You get 3 codes. One for you. Two to give to friends, so they can play the beta with you. They'll probably get excited and enjoy the beta, then buy Destiny in September. Bungie gets more monies.

so as everyone knows, platform selection is now up(honetsly I thought I did this already orginally). I orgINALLY entered my beta code a couple weeks ago. I just now went to the "redeem codes/beta" section of the siIte to select my platform, but instead of giving the option to select my platform or region it is just asking me to enter a code? Am I in the right spot, misunderstanding this or do I have to reneter my code again, if i can find it?

Edit: the bungie beta FAQ, conversely says i need to visit my profile page to select the patform. but my profile page is bassically empty with no options.
Edit 2: dammit they should really make it clearer, I was looking for the code redeem page from the home page, which all I see is an obscure beta image on the front page took me here
