Blurry, must be sub hd, playing on a 1080p screen. Framerate seems smooth though.
Personally, I'm in the US but I used the preload trick to get the EU download yesterday. BUT, that shit didn't work. I was getting the same error as you. Tried everything and I ended up with a locked icon on the Destiny Beta tile that I couldn't open. Ended up just downloading it again on my US account. I'm at 91% now so yeah...I suppose it'll probably work this time.

Took me about an hour and 15 minutes to download the entire thing on a 100MB cable connection. However this was like 2 hours ago. I imagine things will be slowing down now that the east coast if off work its only gonna get worse over the next few hours.
Unlocked after level 5 mission. They don't want you to get pwned at level 1.

Been playing with the app while playing, fantastic little tool. Two questions/comments:
Took me a little while to find the equip button on the android app (Hint: Its under the 3 dot menu on the top right of unequipped item). Might be worth having an equip button above the inspect one, as the 3 dots seemed a bit out of place for it.
Will we be able to do our Tower business directly from the app (Buy and crytarch items mainly), or is it more a directory to cut down on time running around the tower?

All gear is normalized. Your Level shouldn't matter. Well maybe abilities....
Does it let you buy stuff from mobile, or do you have to load up the game to do that?
The 9 digit I did a week or so ago to actually get the 12 digit one today...which I don't have...or I don't think I have.

Found that if my controller disconnects, the 'game content transfer' stops until the connection is reestablished.
Kind of bullshit since there's no need for the controller during that process.
So a little over 2 hours in download time, where it was due to be finished a hour and a half ago at least, is now sitting at 75%.

That's disappointing to hear...obviously there's gonna be better hand cannons with better upgrades. But also that means better Scout rifles as well.
Didn't Bungie say at some point that Beta is going to have a lot more content than the alpha?
I was already in love with Destiny after the alpha, but man, the size of this beta is a massive disappointment... I was hoping for increased (if not completely unlocked) level cap and at least 2 new areas... Instead, we've got the same old cap at 8 and 3 new single player missions in the same old area. Looks like I'm done with the beta after 3 hours, good deal on the extra week for Sony.

Yea. That's one constant through Pre-Alpha, Alpha, and beta. The hand cannons just suck. It's a shame too cause on my hunter I'd kill to use them.

You don't have to have the game running. It'll download and install in the background while you're doing something else.
