Companies announce things at their own pace.
It all makes sense now. I was curious why it was immediately this fall.
I thought you had already watched Mirai Nikki? Unless you're checking out the dub now ha. I actually have both dvd sets of this show also.
Also AnimeGAF I'm gonna have to choose a new anime to watch soon! I'm probably gonna be done with Idolm@ster sometime tonight or tomorrow.

I expect it to come but probably not at least til next year since they probably didn't sign a second season from the start. Meaning the announcement would come at earliest during the fall season
The best part iirc the writer of NGNL really enjoyed working on the show.
No amount of coffee is keeping my eyes from drooping this morning. Im losing it boys.

Like, I enjoy bakemonogatari's style of conversations that keep breaking off into different tangents that somehow relate to each other, but I seriously have no idea what the first episode of nise is even trying to establish.
This is the book where Nisio going all-out batshit, just enjoy the insanity (endure) till the 2nd season.

Speaking of Nisioisin, I really fucking wish they would animate his Zaregoto novels. I don't care if each one is a movie that I have to wait years between, but DO IT.

Hard to know what to say about this every week, it's not bad, but it's nothing special. It's like a mech version of Fairy Tail. Got some decent character building for the main cast but it was all by the numbers and exactly what you'd expect from this kind of series.

Oh yes! And many of the animation details, like the effects, were nuts... and created a following. To keep it thread related, lets just give the example of a legendary Japanese effects animator like Takashi Hashimoto drooling about The Secret of NIMH and what it achieved compared to work he was related to, as expressed on his old Newtype magazine column:

Why only Takayama only blushes when he see fanservice, how about the other guy?Why isn't he blushing or showing any reaction? He is gay or something? And why is the idol thanking him for saving her when he meary just fell into her boobs and fainted?

Excited to see NISA's CCS artbook. I've never bought anime from them so this is the first time I'll see one of there's.

Well... It's a story of a rookie cop Daizaburo that gets assigned to work the beat with the baddest mofo on the force which have gotten the nickname Mad Bull. They stop rape gangs, a hitman and other criminals all while Daizaburo complains about Mad Bull not doing things by the book. But in the end he sees Mad Bull as one of the good guys and helps him out when internal affairs guy tries to stop him. All that's missing is a yelling police chief, but the one in this story actually likes Mad Bull.
Edit: Oh, yeah, and it's set in New York of course.

I honestly really appreciate your contributions to this thread a lot.
The artbooks are more like production books with a lot of character conceptual art and some production insights. They are quite nice extras really.
Also that CCS set is not far away at all and I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED. Its literally one of my anime dreams come true.
