If you guys actually stepped inside the Toonami thread you'd see that the opinions of dumbasses on Twitter aren't representative of the majority opinion of the Toonami thread (why would you even think they do?). Are you guys trying to start crap or just joking around, I honestly can't tell :/

It's mostly facetious. Having suffered through Shingeki and SAO together, we're brothers-in-arms now, together bathed in the blood of bad anime, rather than the rivals we once were.

Ah, I'll still get to GTO eventually.

If you're not liking Black Jack, would you want me to change the part of the watchbet to Eureka Seven if you haven't seen it? I recommended it because it seemed to be like some kind of thing to compare alongside GTO. From what I hear, GTO is mainly a slice-of-life kind of thing, which Black Jack is as well. But if you're not enjoying it, I'll change it if you want.

I keep thinking we're making the new threads too early until I actually look at the old thread and realize we're at the 380s or such. It's easy to not notice those things!

It's a joke. Well at least for me. I know a couple of people on twitter are not representative of the community as a whole. Also no I won't go into that thread until something I've not seen airs.

It's sort of an unshakable stigma, unfortunately. The people with awful opinions are always going to be there and they're always going to be louder.

But that being said, I don't think its usually with malicious intent towards a specific Toonami crowd but more the typical, ill-informed TV viewer.

After the animegaf explosion back in 2009 or whatever, things have slowed down significantly. Existence of irc, longtime posters posting less or stopping altogether, other posters getting banned, Twitter, etc.

So now Hime is falling in love with Seiji. Yuuko can tell, and I suppose that means her role going forward will kinda be mediating both her and Megumi and Seiji and their feelings for each other. So I guess it's good that Yuuko will finally have some role in this show beyond not shutting up about food. Still not that optimistic about how they'll handle this love triangle though.

At the very least, it seems almost unanimous among both animegaf and toonamigaf that the most recent episode is godly.

Also, I regularly make it onto the Wall of Shame just from how many shows I watch, plus backlog. Not sure if that's good.

The first thread of the season is usually the fastest, since that's when everybody is watching all the new shows. As we get to subsequent threads there are a lot of drops and thus people posting less impressions, thus the thread will slow down.

Yeah I've tried to like it, it's not doing it for me. I wouldn't mind the show if it solely focused on Doctor Batman but there's so many fucking episodes focused on the annoying kid and the older style cartoony cast of light hearted characters (the dog looks like scooby doo) that I'm not enjoying it. Give me your list of favorite anime (maybe top 10 or 15) and I'll see what I haven't seen from that.

And yes I've already watched Eureka 7, don't need to remind myself how much I hate wimpy protagonists with Renton. I'm having enough with Tokyo Ghoul kid.
