So, besides Force Unleased, i never played any of those SW games. Any reccomendations?

The Jedi Knight games are both excellent and KOTOR is one of my favorite Bioware releases.

Grab KOTOR II as we'll, if it is available. Ironically, Force Unleashed is the worst game in that lineup by far.

is KoToR playable nowadays on modern PC's? i had a friend having difficulties playing it, with constant CtD's.

There are a few required tweaks, including a widescreen patch, but KOTOR is perfectly playable.

I believe I did a play through about a year ago on Win 8.

sadly not. sorry D:

I replayed KotOR on win7 some time ago, it's playable (not digital version, I had my CDs still), not sure about win8 though, as I haven't tried.

All methods of Windows 8 program/setting launching are still inferior to Windows 7 Start menu textual search. Simply because the latter smartly unifies application and control panel search into a single, incredibly fast and unobtrusive UI.

Shit. You mean shit, not shift.

Windows+S searches applications, control panel, files, and so on. Windows+Q searches within an app, and Windows+F is just for files.

And Metro itself is gorgeous, although one stays in the desktop for the most part where things look like 7 and work in the same way with improvements.

Outcast for sure, but the multiplayer sabre combat in Academy is still pretty good (and fairly active), even if I hated the campaign. Kotor is an awesome single player RPG, but Kotor 2 is the better game *flame shield on* Force unleashed is generally shit, but worth maybe one playthrough.

Speaking as someone who opened dozens of Pokemon TGC booster packs back in the day hoping for rare cards, I understand your frustration and you have my sympathy.

Oh yeah dude. Then some random dude who like just out of the blue decides to open a single cs:go crate and then gets a full fade knife. I hate the uncrating system.

You've never played Jedi Knight?

All three are great. If you can only get 1, get KoToR. If you can only get 2, get KotoR and Jedi Knight 2.

what is the verdict on KOTOR and the force unleashed? i don't really watch or care about star wars and its lore though

it's worked great for me

If you like ME1, go for Kotor. If not, Force Unleashed ain't that bad, I actually like it a lot when it came out...

KotOR is probably the second best game Bioware ever made and both Jedi Knight games are really fun. I hated TFU.

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I think i'll get both Jedi Knight games and KoToR.

Got a question about TWD2.

END GAME SPOILER:
What happens if you ask to go with Mike?

I don't really know, since I don't think that anyone would make that choice, but
I bet that Arvo will just shoot you anyway. God I hate Arvo. Sarah was totally redeemed after I met Arvo

Why the flame shield? Kotor 2 is the better game. It's a mathematical truth.

Are the Jedi Knight games fun to play single-player?

"Fun"? They're pure brillance.

Anyone else keep getting tiny Dead Rising 3 updates? Just got the 2nd one and it's pissing me off because I keep thinking it's ready to play.

They are amazing single player and even multiplayer with bots. I think some people have a bit of grievance with Jedi Knight Dark forces 2 since it take a good while to actually get a lightsaber and force powers, but that is part of what makes it brilliant. It is well paced, and fun all the way. Not as keen on the follow up Jedi Academy but it is also pretty great

Definitely. They're classics.

Yes. I barely played their multiplayer but played through the single-player many times.

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
I know it's a turd. The thing is I'll probably change my mind by then and wait for an even lower price.

The ROW subs have no PRC flags, so when the game does hit $5 on Steam you'll probably be able pick it up for a key.

I've heard good things about this game, so...

I'm in the middle of Act 2 of Witcher2 and somehow managed to sell my boots.

Do you want to know how many people sell boots? um. no one.

Geralt is wrecking fools with bare feet.

Thanks. You gotta be crazy to say yes. Unless if you wanted to see what would happen.

Agreed.

Those dirty looks really pissed me off. Wish we could kill him.

I feel that for the most part TWD2 had chat options that I would have picked in real life though. That was refreshing. Even if most decisions didn't have much effect, it was nice to get the freedom and see reactions.
