Bayonetta 2 has only one version with the free game on NA, so its more expensive on EU, even if they dont have the limited edition

Not an import impression but I've played through the US demo at the store about 8 times lol. Its just so fun, and with all 3 characters as well (Link with both weapons too).

Can't wait to get my hands on the full thing.

As far as I know, judging from some spoilers:

Ghirahim, Zant and Ganondorf are playable in the Legend (Story) mode. As of now, I don't know if they have a dedicated campaign for them, or if they are playable as a part of the "main" story.

Also, you are free to replay any battle with any characters in Free mode.

On a side note: gimme that OT.

It's... I don't know. You will come for the fanservice, but I can't guarantee that you will stay for the gameplay. With Musou games, it's a hit or miss: either you are going to love it, either you are going to hate it.

Now, if you like action, you are going to have it in this game. However, don't expect any puzzles or a refined beat'em all gameplay with a good scoring system (I'm not saying HW gameplay is bad, mind you, just that it doesn't hold a candle to Bayonetta).

To me it's definitely a good fan service game. I already posted that but it reminds me of Four Swords, in the sense where the puzzle/action balance is clearly more oriented action than a regular Zelda game.


I got the game on PAL/FR today. I was still playing the JP one yesterday... But I've restarted a save nevertheless like intended. Some potions/special power on weapons I didn't understood as well as the story.

So, regarding the main story then, what I discovered (level 3 so far)...

Cia/Cya boobs are the real, main deal of the story then? From what I understand she is in love with Link and got jealous and transformed herself in the dark witch with boobs he will not be able to resist.

What about "Linkle" then?! That original female Link concept art was about to give us...
a Zelda game with relationships story between every hylian but mens. Wow, I definitely want that even more!

Ugh, as much as I hate to do this, my computer has been out of commission for some time now, so I have no access to photoshop to get the Hyrule Warriors OT done. It work, but the RAM is just too low at this point and it can't open the program anymore. I was trying to hold out in hopes I could still do it, but if I stall any longer there won't be a fancy OT. I guess I'll have to deal and give it up.

I'd love to know about this as well. I am only able to buy a couple more games this year and Dragon Age is a lock, so that only leaves room for one more. I'm planning on making it Hyrule Warriors unless I hear bad things that aren't to the tune of "this suffers from the same things the Dynasty Warriors games do".

Legend Mode, the one with a plot and cutscenes, is probabily around 10 hours with a bit of grinding on normal. But that doesn't mean you can unlock all the stuff that's there in just that time.
And then there is the Adventure mode, the one that apes the original NES game, which is a whole different thing. And that one is probably even meatier.
There is really a massive amount of content and tons of unlockables in HW, if boredom doesn't step in you'll be playing the game for dozens of hours.

I got a Pal version of this game and I'm having a blast with it (this is my first musou, I've only played in my childhood the "little musou" called Mystic Heroes.

But god the framerate is often under 30fps, it hurt because the game is graphicaly smooth, I thought it would be a festival of jagginess but it's none.

By the way, I guess you didn't get any costumes codes? They got those in the USA and United Kingdom, but not here in France it seems.

I agree with you, though I really would have liked the Skyward Sword Zelda costume. Oh well...

In Italy Gamestop had the TP costumes as preorder. No idea about the OOT or SS costumes...but Ganondorf will available as soon as the game will show up on the eshop tomorrow, for free download.

Basically yep, the member Think Different is Gamerloid, if you click the profile and he hasn't tried asking anyone publicly on GAF for help, so unless he sent a PM to someone willing, I don't think the OT's on.

Even if they should have been playable from the onset; at least they can let us use Cia, Valga and Wizro through these means.

What I'm also hoping for is new areas. Adventure Mode does well when it reduce them to tiny parts but that's still the same levels. New levels + some change on weather or lightning
or even mirroring can make a good Adventure (of Link) Mode
