that chapter is soo good but i cannot keep thinking why the fuck they forced Raku to be in that chapter when is infinitely more better of we just have Shu and Ruri only chapter.

Tokyo Ghoul 1-143 END
I only started reading it cause I heard it ended. What a crock of shit. Either that's one of the worst endings ever or there's a part B that's about to begin in a few weeks.
Nozoki Ana 1-116 END
Wanted a good romance/comedy/drama and this was an enjoyable read. It's also an h-manga though, so there's sex in practically every chapter. The values of peeping. The ending with that last bit of drama came out of nowhere though.

Not a comments on the current arc, but it annoys me that the author sweep away the matter of Kaneki feeding himself.
We went from "sugar cubes" to curb his hunger so he could get by, to the issue never being mentioned again after the torture scene.
Don't think there has been any formal decision yet.
The manga went on for too long and the ending was lite-Seo, but its a very enjoyable read.

I finished Tokyo Ghoul.
I don't know how to put it but I always felt the pacing was a little awkward for panels to panels transition. Like something was a little off. I think the only time where I was comfortable with the pacing was the early bits. The last arc ( not just the ending ) felt notably rushed, I don't if that was because of the mangaka is a perfectionist since he named chapter 72 as 'Half-way'. 1 chapter for epilogue for such a rushed arc is shitty, the (emotional) impact simply diminished because readers can feel that things are simply going through the motion, and in an unusually fast pace. I like his art though, not so much for the action scenes but more for the character designs. No major complaints on the story, just more on the way it was delivered. It would help if it could be a little more subtle too.
Either way, I'm interested in a sequel which is speculated to be coming I guess.

Man, that climax was really amazing. I figured they would find ways to keep the boys in prison for the duration of the series. Started to feel bad for Hana and Meiko.

Hate the regular student council members. Poor Meiko, I knew she had to have experienced some sort of bullying as a child to turn out the way she did. Even though these 3 have been really horrible to the boys, its hard not to root for them now that theyre in this predicament. Kind of surprised the whole ordeal with Joh was resolved so quickly. I guess all it takes is a cute smile and a cupcake.
I wonder why Mari hates boys so much. I blame her dad.

Kaneki isn't a replaceable lead. His psychological development throughout the series is a big hook for me and for others. And for him to be replaced by Amon who isn't as dynamic as Kaneki, would be less interesting. Also add to the fact that Kaneki is unpredictable as an lead. And I just can't see Ishida topping Kaneki as a MC with Amon. To me Amon is better off interacting with Kaneki than being the lead.

Chairman is great, but do you hate Risa as well? That's not good. You shouldn't hate Risa.
There are already two volumes out though if MU is to be believed.

Shes just uninteresting so far. I dont like her design either, shes just a gloomy girl with a stick. But this series does a good job of making all the characters likable in some level so I'll hold my final judgment.
The USC were evil but they were great to hate. The copious amount of fan service also swayed opinions in their favor :3

5 best buds take part in a game of trust to clear one of their friend's debts. 'Course, they don't actually know which one of them has the debt, and predictably their friendship turns out to be less watertight than they'd anticipated. Has that delicious survival game vibe plus the promise of betrayals everywhere. Followed like a £20 note blowing away in the wind.

Oh, I didn't mean that I wanted Amon to become the MC, just that I feel he's harder to replace in the overall story. Kaneki was a fine MC, but he had his overall arc and I felt it was complete enough that I wouldn't mind a different MC for the next part of the story who could have his/her own arc. You could even have Kaneki alive as a side-character.
Arima was way too hack for my taste, I really hope he's not human.
