Everyone knows about Firefly, Jericho, Freaks & Geeks.
What are other good shows that were canceled, but not so popular as the ones above?

Wonderfalls and Better of Ted.

I only saw a few Wonderfalls, but they were all neat.

Better of Ted is just hilarious, and has a bit of corporate satire in it.

I could cry whenever thinking of how disgusting it is that this show was cancelled because there are no alternatives to it at all. It was a tragedy it ended up on the shitty vanilla station it did end up on. If only it was netflix or whatever.

Odyssey 5!

Great sci-fi show with a very surreal feel to it. Sadly it was cancelled way too early, but that did enhance its sense of mystery. I loved it.

Basically the cast of 5 is out flying some shuttle mission when the earth is destroyed. They get sent back in time 5 years by an alien that tells them to find out what happened so that they may try to prevent it. The scene that follows where they discuss what just happened over coffee in a diner is really great and the show has a lot of moments like that.

The Event.

I felt that it was starting to really pick up during the later part of the season, then they went and cancelled it :(

Clerks: TAS was sent out to die, when it at least deserved a second season. ABC played the fourth episode first. They played the second episode next, which was a parody of flashback episodes. Both of them made no sense out of context.

The planned episodes could've been great, too. Jay joins a boy band, Affleck as the King of Canada, KITT attempting to kill and replace Dante at the Quick Stop.

"Kings" was a great show for the 12 episodes it lasted. Ian McShane as a sort of King Saul in the modern re-telling of the David story was unique and totally underserved by NBC marketing.

I wanted Deadly Games to finish ;A;

A Space Above and Beyond reboot on HBO would be awesome ;A;

I thought Threshold was pretty good, actually stopped watching new shows before they at least had a season done, because of that show getting canceled mid season.

It was about a weird alien audio signal that would messing up all kinds of stuff

It had early Peter Dinklage too before Game of Thrones fame! He's a condescending super genius if memory serves.

Came here to post Threshold, Daybreak and Human Target so I'll go with...

Traveler. I'm sure in retrospect some of the acting was bad, but the plot in this show was off the charts. It was like National Treasure on TV. Would have loved to see the end.

My heart still weeps for Threshold and Daybreak as well :(

Carpoolers, was aired 13 episodes during the writer's strike but no further episodes were ordered.

Starred Jerry O' Connell and TJ Miller in one of his first roles. 4 guys who live near each other and carpool. You've probably seen the guy driving in the office (jealous boyfriend of the girl Darrel dated) and other comedies

It got a lot of shit for being so different to other Stargate's and basically killing Atlantis to fund its huge budget but if you like sci-fi you should definitely watch it. It has amazing visuals, soundtrack, Rush is a fantastic character, and season 2 has some of the best sci-fi episodes since The Next Generation. Finding out what Destiny was created for is also super fascinating. I wish it didn't end. :(

She Spies was actually pretty good in its first season. Really weird, British sensibility. Unfortunately they made it into a standard drama series in the second season and then cancelled it. Was fun while it lasted!

Also I thought Alphas was pretty decent. A bit cheesy in that classic Sci-Fi channel way, but I think it was a more unique take on super powers than say, Heroes.

Oh yeah Better Off Ted! Loved that show.
