Folders are nice and all, but how about being able to use the Wii U gamepad as a classic controller in Wii Mode? If the device is smart enough to tell me I can't control it with the gamepad, then surely they could make the gamepad emulate a classic controller in Wii mode.

I've been wanting folders since launch.

After they had to add folders to the 3DS I never understood why the Wii U didn't have folders at launch, it's not like folders were an unknown concept to them.

Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. The Wii has no clue what the gamepad is, and the message you're seeing is from the gamepad itself, which has it's own software.
