Needs to have tons of "Looks like a TV show" references in the OT, and some of the rehashed complaints our usually MCU-haters repeat in every MCU thread.
You may kid, but Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver have TV special effects.

I know some comic book purists are pissed about changing Ultron's origin from Pym to Tony, but I think this version feels more natural. Introducing Pym (either in this movie or just before) just to make him responsible for creating the villain seems too contrived. It also kind of changes the group dynamic to where it's basically everyone on the Avengers hating Pym, instead of one of its founding members being responsible.
Instead of a tv show now it just looks like the rest of MCU movies.

I agree and will probably set up Captain America 3 if Downey Jr signs on, plus hasn't Whedon already stated that the story is original and not influenced by the comic of the same name?

It's a black woman in a yellow shirt. The hands are not "metal."
So wait, Ultron wasn't that alien guy at the end of Avengers? Or was it Thor 2, I can't even remember

Beyond that I just appreciate when the different scientists have different specialities. Pym is a geneticist, essentially. Stark as a roboticist makes sense. Reed Richards is a physicist (and chemist ... and biologist ...).
I can certainly see Ultron's comic origins changing in the future. Stark works better, especially now that he's a more popular character.

the alien guy is thanos
Why's he not in it? He's been teased in 2 movies now
Yes, because the effects are final in the trailer.
The first Avengers trailer didn't even have Hulk present in the circular "Hero Shot," as his CG was more than likely not finished.

There has only been one Avengers movie so I don't get this kind of cynicism.Spader and the Ultron design were definitely the most inspired parts shown so far. Everything else...yep, it's an Avengers movie.

There's no way Whedon leaves out "Ultron, we would have words with thee", right?
Why exactly is a robot such a threat to the Avengers? They already took down an alien army and an (alien) God. Hell, Tony took on drones in Iron Man 2

Andy Serkis confirmed as Black Panther.
I know this is a joke, but I was legit vex for a second.
Serkis as Pym yo
It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead. Why exactly is a robot such a threat
Check out the background in this pic. Is Tony visiting that kid from IM3 again?
Got a bad feeling about Rhodey, who seems to be there for Ultron's first scene but never again in the movie...
So Thanos will basically wreck everyone's shit?
He does look cool

I think we heard that it's just a cameo appearance with Rhodes but not War Machine.
Agent Tripplet from Agents of SHIELD is supposed to show up too.

Because he's not just a robot, he's a program, and it can't be killed

I'm still surprised at people saying the effects are bad, they don't even look that bad for being unfinished
