Glad to see it's gotten an overall positive reviews, congrats to jstevenson and the team. 
Can't wait to play it at midnight.
Bit disappointed with the gametrailers 70 though. Just a bit odd hearing the too easy point that their making. Of course once you get good at chaining movement and are able to stack your style meter full it should reward you with easier ways to kill as long as you're keeping that charged. He also says the characters are too stereotypical with who they are and their humor, BUT the same dude (ben moore) reviewed DR3 and doesn't mention a thing about similarly ridiculous stereotypes in that game.

I'm buying the D.E. I'll probably regret it as I have virtually all season passes, but I'm willing to believe that Insomniac might actually deliver something good and break that poor season pass investment streak.

I don't actually know what my end was. I left my xbox one on and it said i was well over 130 hours so i guessed at 40 but you'r probably right. I tried to do as much as poss. It was great. Poor ending tho

Erm we know why it isn't on sony consoles. It doesn't really have anything to do with Insomniac, so let's not blame them. :/

Well not all PS4 owners are out of luck! Some own Xbox One consoles too. Hopefully Insomniac has something good or better than Sunset Overdrive for Xbox One to make the fans even more excited!

Possibly the worst season pass in gaming. I can't believe I bought that shit.
He's probably referring to the weekly challenges issued through Sunset TV.

Fantastic scores. Never been a fan of Insomniac Games, but this title will be bought once I picked up a XBO next year some time (hopefully).

The update is pretty fast for the console. You'll be done setting it up in 15 min or so probably. Hopefully the game has a decent play as you download option in your case.

As Vernia points out, it's probably referring to the challenges and SSTV.
That honour still goes to Arkham Origins, but DR3 isn't very far behind.
I buy season pass for games that has map packs with some savings. Don't get it if it's extra missions unless I read good things about them.

Excellent. And XBL servers are pretty solid, correct? So the game should download pretty quick is it's less than 30 GB... well at least, no more than an hour from opening it to playing it... hopefully.

Yeah, that's the sensible approach.
I'm not sensible when it comes to season passes. I always say this is the last time, but then I get caught up in the game hype and delude myself into thinking that this time it will be different...

As someone stung by the shitty season pass that came with Ryse and the lackluster Dead Rising pass, I would say that is a wise decision.

I haven't had issues with download speeds generally. Only when I download in sleep mode on a wireless connection for some reason. Background downloading seems to work well even when playing games. If I were you'd I'd download Killer Instinct Season 2 for free and play dojo mode while you're downloading SO.
Yeah, I don't remember the last time a developer delivered on season pass.

Yea, I want to play CD, but I was actually thinking about buying D4 first and get to that. Only problem is I'm not sure if it's good without Kinect or not, since I believe that's what it was originally designed for.

FPS season passes are often good. That's about all, though. The AC: Unity one might be decent.
And IP rights.
Insomniac own the Sunset Overdrive IP, other publishers weren't up for that.
I think the TF season pass is a amazing, 3 map packs and was only 25.

It's perfectly playable without Kinect. I think it loses a bit of its charm, though.

Even though it's not on PS4 and I'm not getting an Xbone, I'm super proud of Insomniac for making something getting such praise. They've always been awesome and I was hoping they could rebound from the game that we don't speak of...
