I'm on the fence about which version to get. On the one hand, $99 puts the season pass at $40, $10 less than usual (and some other free content). On the other hand, I almost never buy more than one dlc before I so playing these games.

Yeah I'm the same. I'm usually heavy into MP games for about 6months before I get burned out. I don't buy season passes because by the time the 3rd out of 5 DLC's release, I'm already done with the game anyways.

Ouch man. You lose a lot by doing that. It feels low.

Think about the guy who sells his console because he thinks his time has been consumed by it. You just need to place it in the right perspective and without reacting irrational. I've seen people sell consoles for pot and food before while I worked at GS. It's illogical to me.

One more thing to add - boosting left or right is a bit unnatural on the thumb, left in particular. Pushing to the side and then clicking down feels a little awkward initially. You will wear your thumb stick down much faster if you want to do it a lot. If you have a modded controller with paddles on the back then it would be really beneficial to map a left thumb stick click to one of them.

Thoughts on PC for this game? my understanding (and some experience) is that the PC game usually gets hacked pretty early making online play kind of miserable...

Does anyone know if Scorestreaks reset when you die, like the old Killstreaks?

I'm an old git (comparatively) and I do love a bit of CoD action - but the odds of me surviving in one life to get a streak are slim...

I was one of the few who really appreciated the introduction of support streaks.

Thats the world we live in. I think it could go either way. You make your own experience. I've had some bad PC matches that left me down, BF on PC specifically. That and Ghosts was probably better on console. I mean I had a great time with BO2 on console. I put about 15 hours into Ghosts PC MP too.

I'd love to get more time with AW in general.

Yes, they do. There are no support streaks, but there are modules that you can attach to the UAV, Care package and I think another streak which doesn't reset your score towards a scorestreak that has that attached.

It is still downloading, my conection is crap (4mb dsl) i went to internet usage seting and it already download almost 3gb so i guess it is the full game donwload again..

But that progress thing is bugged, it says updating 100%. So, unless its a big day one patch im afraid it is the full game.

Good, that was the question, I don't care about having a disk.
It happened that there was a difference between hard and digital, it's rare but it happened, I mean, performance differences.

you can add attachments to scorestreaks now and, for the uav at least, there is one thats called support so it does not reset after death but it requires more score. i'm not about other streaks but my guess would be no

So just an observation from watching some streams this morning, if you play this like previous COD's you will get wrecked hard. Looks like most of the people that are doing bad aren't taking advantage of the exo movement capabilities, where as the people doing well are boosting all over the place.

I'm incredibly excited for this game. Preloaded it last night and I'm looking forward to playing this after I get off work at 11. I just wish more of my friends had a PS4. If any Gaffers want to play tonight feel free to add me, MrJCJacobs. Looking forward to getting back into COD after a couple of years on the sidelines.

Well damn. I am not happy. If I'd have known I would've bought a disc version on Amazon like a sensible human being instead of being suckered into "preloading" like a fucking chump.

Seems to be more american players and the matches are smoother now, much better than yestarday and friday, PS4 here.

This game is great at making you feel like a fucking ninja when you get a streak going, sliding and jumping all ober the place killing people, managed to go 12-1 in a match just now, pretty intense shit.

I preloaded on the Xbox One yesterday night. Should I have gotten the update? I haven't been promoted for a update when I had my Xbox One on today. I don't want to destroy my 1/3 of my cap on the 2nd day of the month because no way I need to download the game again if it's bugged.

It's not too bad.

You can make the UAV, Orbital Care Package and the Remote Turret 'Support' killstreaks for an additional point cost (300 for the UAV, 600 for the Care Package and the Remote Turret).

The UAV, due to the customizable killstreak system, encompasses what a few killstreaks (for instance it can be customized to be like the Advanced UAV in MW3). The Remote Turret can be customized into a sentry gun, with rocket or laser attachments. And the Orbital Care Package can be customized to increase the odds of a good killstreak, and allow for a re-rolling of the killstreak, with additional points.

So as a 'support' player you have a lot of options.

Did you turn off the VPN after launching the game? And yeah, I can't imagine many PC players being online right now.

Edit: 388 in-game right now
