Meg and Fiona from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.

Probably half of Micaiah's shitty friends could go here. And every FE game has a few characters who are markedly worse than the rest. But Meg and Fiona are among the most memorable because you almost have to deploy them as meat shields in some of the early chapters.

I found both Mazzy and Keldorn from Baldur's Gate 2 to be kind of useless. For a fighter Mazzy's strength was hilarious.

I always found Cait Sith to be useless.

I did too.

Same with Lucca from Chrono Trigger, although she at least had the occasional use when you needed fire. Marle wasn't all that useful either.

Marle had ice magic and was awesome for pure spell power. In the future she pulled her weight around when fighting mutants.

Dancers in FE can be pretty cool.

Most worthless rpg character? Most everyone who fights with you in TES (although not technically a party). They die SO fast it's funny.

Not just Jogurt and Kiwi, but Shining Force 3 also had a set of unhatched penguins that were ridiculously underpowered when you got them. I always enjoy leveling them up and surprisingly they aren't completely worthless like Jogurt.

Edward was at least a piece of shit for story reasons. And mercifully, you don't have to deal with him for long.

I wasn't a fan of Relm in FFVI. Maybe she gets stronger later on but I never gave her the chance.

Kimahri. Honestly I thought Tidus was way more useless in my playthrough. I think a lot of the utility of characters in FFX depends on how you work the sphere grid.

No way! From what I can recall, doesn't Mazzy come with 5 stars in Bow proficiency? Bows are insanely over-powered in the Baldur's Gate games.....

I gave her that bow with infinite arrows + boots of speed (or something like that...been a while since my last playthrough) and she destroys most enemies before they reach my melee characters......
