I like 5 more. Won't interfere with any pictures, which might make it easier to find more good pics too
Not necessarily bad users but personally, I always feel like those that contribute and are part of the community deserve more than those that don't. Otherwise, it just seems like they're dropping in just to win stuff, even if that isn't the intention.
Option 3 and 5 seem to be the contenders for the next version. I'll see how both of these end up when putting the thread together.

i am actually against lines. not because it looks bad; it doesn't. they look great.
but because it would offload work for you each month. given that - i am going a limp here - not many read the op each time or at all, it may not be justified for all that work. i also remember you posting being under some load of your new job as well.
but if that's what the people want, then go option 3!
I sure as hell read OP every month. I have no idea what games release each month. It's not work that goes to waste imo.
seems like a questionable choice of font tho
i don't think turning on a photoshop layer is too much work

Still like option 5 the best.

the * meaning "no purchase necessary". Sure we can use NOLURKERS, but once we start worry about MEGANOLURKERS or NONOLURKERS or DEATHTOLURKERS, haven't we kind of missed the point of Modbot?
If you only want the best of the best, just do what Shadownet did with his Batman/Joker contest, or that other poster (apologies for forgetting) did with the drawings of orange juice.

As I said, I actually do non-mod bot raffles more often than I do mod bot ones. I usually ask people to make dips and then I choose who I love the most out of them. I also asked at least once for waifus and husbandos.

Had I realized the winner would be chosen based on art skill, I might have spent more time than I did and got better than last place. Then again, I've always drawn like a fourth-grader so probably not.
I already left a small message on my Activity feed for the people on my friends list a couple of hours ago but might as well leave something similar in here.
I honestly hope that everyone can have a good day weather you are celebrating the Holiday/Christmas season or not. Hope you can all have a hot meal, some memories to share and I hope you can be with your loved ones from family members, lovers and close friends. SteamGAF has been a house for me for quite some time. It's a great place to discuss a lot of themes regarding this hobby of ours and I feel quite lucky to have you all every time I decide to talk about a certain game. For the last years I've met some incredible people, many with different ways of thinking or even different ways of engaging life. It's funny, because while I don't exactly know you all I... feel I know quite a few members, more than the name or the avatar and this is what the community is all about.
I'm not going to lie, I felt a bit emotional when time was not kind to me and I had to be away from SteamGAF (and GAF in general) and when I got some time it felt very warm to the heart to see the same friendly "faces" I've met along this years saying "welcome". This is a great community and I truly respect every GAFfer. I just wanted to thank you all for all the help, the kindness, the conversations about everything. I hope I helped you out when you were in need of help, I hope you can forgive me if I let you down somehow, I hope you don't hate me simply because you don't like me or the way I talk. I am incredibly lucky because all those years I learned what really, really matters in life, just like the people I live everyday, my lovers, my friends, my family, you all also made a positive impact on my life, for good. I thank you all for your patience and friendship, for all the laugh and silly moments. There's so many different people in here, yet, I feel most of us learned something from each other. I know this might sound really lame for many, others will simply put me on ignore but I have never given up on building a better community, on having a place that is friendly and can welcome anyone because that is what really matters in here, to have fun and respect each other. Hrm. Sounded way too whiny before. Wanted to redeem myself and went to grab something to give away. Found a thing (Gauntlet!) but a red angry message is telling me the gift is restricted to "certain countries" without telling me which ones. What am I supposed to do when giving such a game away with modbot? Can I see which countries somewhere?

If there are no countries listed, there shouldn't be any restrictions. It's a known workaround where even though a 4 pack itself might be regionlocked, after activation, the 3 copies that the 4 pack generates are not region locked in any way, though they might sport that red angry message claiming it is.
