Performance isn't worth the price premium unless you get it at a significant discount compared to the 850 Pro. Other manufacturer's SSDs, and the 840 series, are a better value otherwise.

It's all about the degree of risk you're willing to accept. I'm less willing to take much risk since I'm willing to wait longer for region free keys from cheaper regions to be discounted at a certain level, where the difference between locked and unlocked is fairly marginal. For collectors (via the reasons you mentioned) and those that place a premium on playing it early, there's definitely incentive to use a VPN for activation, which makes it an attractive option.

That being said, you're completely right about key activation. Valve doesn't really care about using a VPN to activate keys, likely related to the fact that retails keys don't really earn anything on their end compared to steam store gifts. It's significantly safer as long as you're willing to do the legwork to make sure you're not activating anything that's runtime restricted. I'd still never recommend it or use it personally, though admittedly that might change now that I can't get access to russian gifts, but for the sake of completely transparency, it's not something that's actively dangerous.

If you don't really care about VPN usage, you should probably go for Russian keys outright as well in lieu of Nuuvem. A good portion of the newer games released don't have onlyallowrun tags on the keys, merely purchase restrictions related to activation. Familiarize yourself with steamdb, it'll be a very helpful guide.

The map is actually pretty small, so you should be able to find your way around it without having to draw a map yourself :) If you do get lost though, someone uploaded a map on gamefaqs including item, exit and boss locations, that might help.

Also, I found This, to be a better Genesis bundle than was posted earlier, it has some different games but it is a buck cheaper, and has the majority of stuff.

I've heard that the gifts are randomly chosen games from the welcome packs.

Get the latter. I rather get Tales of Borderland on Steam than put up with a Telltale key.

I have literally no clue how that happened, but I assure you no one other than me has the password to ModBot (mods don't need it for the moderation functions) and I didn't claim those games.

There's a very simple explanation: Modbot is trying to gather games for the upcoming 52 games/1 year challenge.
