Is your Xbox 360 digital library bigger than your Steam Library?

The games for gold deal on the 360 is pretty sweet, as you always will own the game, even if your gold sub lapses. I just downloaded my purchases history from Xbox.com and realized I own over 170 Xbox 360 games, most FREE from the games for gold promos. My Steam library is about 140, mostly from Humble Bundles. Anyone else in the same boat? I would so buy a Xbox 360 with a 3TB internal hard drive so I could just keep most of these games on it.

You can find your purchase history here - https://live.xbox.com/en-US/download/history

Here is my digital 360 library that I got from the link above:

Ha, yeah right. Also, you can't count games twice. I saw some of them like Scott Pilgrim in there in both lists. Also Yaris and stuff like Rock Band Music Store and Lips Music Store shouldn't count.

No. Even though my 360 downloads are easily into the double digits, probably not.
Both my psn/xbox accounts have probably costed me more than my steam games, steam I pay $1 and get 3-4 games. Hence my 350 steam games are worth $3500-4000 probably, but ive probably paid $500 in total?

My overall PSN library of titles over all systems - including Plus - might be bigger than my Steam library, but otherwise nothing comes close.

Hell no. My Wii U digital library is bigger then the few xbla games I purchased.

Also, you have some games listed in both lists. I can spot fez at a glance.

Yes, I have about 80 Xbox games and 30 Steam games. I just started PC gaming in 2013.

I'm not downloading many Xbox 360 games now and I suspect my Steam library will be twice as big by the end of the year.

JaseC

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
11 on XBL versus 3926 on Steam. The last digital X360 games I bought were Trials Evolution, Perfect Dark Zero and Kameo back in mid-2012 (20/06/2012, to be precise).

I usually don't grab anything digitally on consoles that is on Steam so it's a pretty big no there. I do got some nice arcadey games on my 360 though!

Tossed that hunk of junk as soon as they locked me out of my XBL account for no reason and refused to let me back in. So, no.

Probably, since I have a tad bit less than 50 games on steam. However, I recently got a gaming pc - so thats going to change

I look at my Arcade Games and Full Games and I see duplicates. Those 2 lists are 180 and 150 though, and I have 331 on Steam. I lean toward consoles, but still end up with as much on Steam because of insane deals.

Not a 360 but owned a ps3 since launch, got 10 digital games, 25 in total. In 8 months of Steam gaming, I have 32 games already and I haven't played half of them.

I don't even know why

Anyone that has a shitty PC will answer yes, anyone that doesn't have a shitty PC will answer no.

I will say though there are some compulsive ass buyers on Gaf that buy shit during the Steam sale even though they may have no interest in playing some of the things they just bought. PC owners are usually the ones that have backlogs of dozens of games.

more like backlog of hundreds lol T_T

Nope. Tossed all Xbox stuff when they refused to provide a resolution after 6 defective Xbox One refurbs from their Canadian warranty center.

Terrible company.

Yes.

It's been a while since I counted my digital 360 games, but I think I have roughly 80 XBLA games and 40 GoD games.

I have 44 Steam games.

and none of them are playable on xbone

fucking digital future my ass. I went into XBLA assuming anything I bought would be available on every future MS console.

what a fool I was

Let's see...

On steam, I own Walking Dead season 2, Stanley Parable and the amazing Bad Rats goty.

On Xbox Live...I don't have an xbox.

Steam wins!

Not even close, but after checking that link I realized I had more than I thought. About 75ish games in all. I rarely bought anything digital on the 360 so it's mostly arcade games and stuff from GwG. Pretty sure my PSN count is considerably higher since they've given away more games through plus and I've taken advantage of the hefty discounts of the PS1 and PS2 classics many times.

My Steam library is ~1450 right now (thanks bundles and cards!) but I know that pales in comparison to many Steam collectors.

Plus a few hundred on GOG....

I could never buy another game in my life and still never get bored. Crazy.

As stated before, I think a better question would be is your entire console library, digitally distributed and also physical discs and cartridges included, bigger than your Steam library. And by consoles, I'm also including handhelds.

I think I have a massive collection from Atari onwards, and if everything is added up, I might have almost 1000 console games. But my Steam library is over 1200 now. This is not a good thing though, I at least played most of those console games. My backlog (console + PC) is unmanageable now.

If we're only including digital games, I might have 150 on consoles, so not enough. If you only want X360, I think I have 50, I'm not quite sure.

To those who have small steam libraries because you don't game on PC, don't have a gaming PC, etc. Keep on grabbing free and cheap games and bundles, its always smart to build your library for when you can play later.

Not even close especially since I've double dipped on a lot of XBLA stuff between Humble Bundles and Steam sales.

I have a shit ton of games on the 360 (hard to gauge now with all the freebies though). Probably more than on Steam, but most of my Steam games are only from Humble Bundles anyway.
