I know they've said it's coming in 2015, but whenever I see it talked about as a game coming "this year" I don't believe it.
I think it was meant to be a joke, a play on the word "biggest".

His posts in 'GAF's top 10 most anticipated game of 2015' thread and his post in here were he rationalizes the whole 'biggest game' statement is because the press haven't seen "how big the game (MGSV) really is" says otherwise.

And yup, that's the worst scoring Platinum Game in Edge. Behind Madworld, Anarchy Reigns and Wonderful 101 which each got 6.

It strange how much hype/information is being released about the game, considering it is most likely being released in November. However, all we've heard is vague details about the story, nothing really about gameplay/environments etc. Hopefully, that's not a sign that the gameplay is going to be more of the same.
If you don't agree then tell me what's the biggest game of the year for you, i surely know mine is uncharted.

GameInformer article already said that they're not ready to reveal more 'stuff' like more of Drake's toolset, etc. And other environments are teased, but only teased, but not talked about.
It seems like a lot, but when you scratch that surface, its's obviously just the appetiser.

Well it's the next game by the guys who made The Last of Us, it's another installment in a huge selling and critically acclaimed franchise, and it came out top on NeoGAF's own most anticipated games of the year. I mean, it's fine if you're not looking forward to it, but don't pretend that it doesn't warrant "biggest game of the year" status.

.. By theirs? I'm not much into Uncharted but c'mon. It can easily be the biggest game of the year.
We know the gameplay is going to be much more open, bigger environments, more dynamic combat including real stealth and improved AI, a tool set for Drake to use, alternative ways to navigate, side stories that you can find... we have plenty of promising details about the game from the PSX demo and the GI article.

It's ND's next game, who are probably the most highly rated and respected devs currently. Who for many made the GOTG (TLoU) and another contender (UC2) last gen. Not hard to see why.

Well, it's only 9 or 10 months away. For a game of its calibre, marketing beginning in earnest now isn't hard to believe.
It was Gaf's most wanted game of the year, after all. You could argue that there are a few games which will be the 'biggest', but UC4 is certainly up there among them.

In the feature there's probably 3 or 4 busts of him from clean shaven to the more rugged state on the cover. I think it's going to be a game where he has this arc of becoming more and more disheveled as the game goes on.

"Pushing Forward" is a pretty hilarious name for an Uncharted feature, given criticism of the series's cinematic moments.

Well in terms of hugeness Witcher 3, MGSV and No Man's Sky trump it.
And in terms of most hyped for game other games like Zelda, Persona 5 and Bloodborne are all in worthy competition.
I'm excited to play U4 but nothing so far has made it more anticipated than those titles above.
That would still presumably end up being Black Ops 3 though, at least from a consumer perspective, no?
I mean, if I had to pick something as the biggest seller guaranteed to release this year, CoD still seems like the safe bet.
