Urgh I should have guessed.

Please Valve, let me have control over how my library appears. Saying that where do you stick Episodes? Do you put it after IV or at the end like a separate entity?

Whatever happened to GTA London? It was pretty popular back in the day.

Wait, does Steam seriously not parse the bold/italics tags correctly if they show up in the description in those "[player] now owns [game]" items in a user's community feed?

They don't work in activity feed at all so announcements that have those tags have them broken as well.
Just Valve stuff

well ... there goes my chance of playing GTA V any time soon ... good job, Rockstar ...

and what a GREAT idea to sell a game for 60€ in a country where the average wage is around 400€ per month .... bravo ...

Yeah it will be a good laugh to see if it works at all. Unlike MGS V where the lappy was pretty much below every min spec other than ram, it's only the CPU letting the system down this time, since mine is a dual core rather than quad. Although it is apparently one of the stronger dual cores, so there is hope haha.

Well look at it like this, if it doesn't work then at least you haven't shelled out and have something as an incentive when you do upgrade. Kind of like I've got a brand spanking new pair of Diesel Jeans that cost an arm and a leg a couple of years ago but don't fit so it's kind of like the carrot on a stick to lose some weight. Hahahaha yeah fat chance of that happening at the moment.

I'd set it to "Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes from Liberty City". They are expansion packs, after all.

Perfecto!

Whatever happened to GTA London? It was pretty popular back in the day.

Well you had two, GTA London 1961 and GTA London 1969. Both were expansion packs for GTA. I know 1961 was freeware at one point but it disappeared from Rockstar's site (way before GTA 1 & 2 disappeared) probably for music licencing or something. Might be able to cobble something together if you could track down a 1969 Windows CD.

Seems that way in both the client and via browser.

I wonder if Valve had individual storefronts for every European territory they sell to would publishers adjust prices inline with each country and their economy? That Euro 2 price bracket is just bonkers lumbering one of the poorest nations with one of the richest and make them pay the same price for what seems more based on geography than financial standing.

Wait so you're upset that others will pay more to get earlier access to product you deem worthy of buying yourself anyway? All the outrage about how Rockstar doesn't care for PC gamers is fine when the game is $60, but it goes away when the price is $45?

I will always feel frustrated. The only thing I can do is lessen it by buying it for a better price than the majority of the PC gamers will... :)

It's also possible in the end I won't bother anymore.
To give an example: I was holding out on Battlefield 4 and Titanfall as well, out of principle.
In the end I didn't bother anymore: I still don't have those games.

Ok, wait, I have a shitty idea. I have The Long Dark in my inventory (worth 20,00 Dollar right now!). I would trade that for Sakura Angels and 4 sacks of gems (7,50 Dollar + 2,20 Dollar = 9,70 Dollar, which is still cheaper than the cheapest The Long Dark ever was ).

I would also take Sakura Angels + Hexcells.

That's the one(1969). Ebay seems to have a a few for PC, and of course many more PSOne copies.

Edit: I wouldn't mind having a London/Vice City-Caribbean mix in the next entry. More variety always helps.

Finished Wolf among us, ep 5 spoilers ahead obviously:
mannnn everyone in fabletown is ungrateful, so is Wolf's waifu. Obviously I killed the Crooked Man, he was just gonna weasel is way out of punishment otherwise, also I let that douche George suffer. I walked out of the trial cause everyone was just upsetting me >_> I'm sad sad frog and his son didn't get them glamours though, even after I gave them the cash, really unfortunate. But the biggest wtf moment, that hoe Faith orchestrated the whole thing! SHE PLAYED ME LIKE A GOD DAMN FIDDLE!! So was it actually the little mermaid who died in the beginning!? Will there be a season 2, or does the graphic novel continue where the game left off or something?

worst idea ever..

the long dark is really good..

fake edit: so what happened with that Win 10 conference?

oh shit, we need Rock Band on PC ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=147766409&postcount=1

That would be great. I got this survey. They've actually been hinting at stuff for a while now.

I have a ton of DLC and some fancy ass drums for RB3 on 360. All I know is that a new one on Xbox One or something better be compatible with the old music and instruments somehow. If it were a PC game, I wouldn't be worried about that right now.

Not sure how likely it is though, as most people don't have a PC in their living room tv for a handful of people to play such a party game.

I recommend checking the DD steam forum to see what others think.
Thanks, just checked it out. There's a thread that said AVG detected Double Dragon Trilogy as a virus. WTF? Normally I'd write that off as a false positive from a free antivirus program, etc. But there's another thread that says the same thing happened with Avast, a different antivirus program. What could be causing that?

I'm pretty sure Rockstar can get bent trying to charge $60 for a late as hell port, no thank you, plus with that DRM bullshit on top, I'm going to wait this one out. How they thought some fake money and a Rockstar published piece of bundle trash would make it okay is beyond me.

It's rockstar/2K, the game will be below $20 within months. They're just getting that impatient money right now, you gotta hold brah

feels like the people who are hyping it are also xbone owners, which is funny given that there's probably gonna be some news coming out from that that isn't going to sit well with some xbone owners. I just imagine that this isn't going to be a completely positive experience for them.

So does Rockstar Social Club really support downloads now (or by the time GTA 5 releases)? It's been a while since I last had it installed.

Non-Steam copy is sooo much cheaper that I just might go for one of those as long as I don't have to use whatever download system the store has I'm buying from. At least if it's through Social Club, I need to use that same program anyway to play the game.

then you should be fine with Origin and Uplay. It sounds like 2k/Rockstar is setting up shop now.

Do you mean Take Two, rather than 2K? I wouldn't be so sure on a drop in price so soon. They have been pretty money graby with it on all platforms, there isn't even a preorder discount, and they know that the majority prefer Steam, and have no outside PC distributors able to give out Steam keys.

I wouldn't be surprised if you see the Social Club version go on offer sooner and more often than the Steam version, which is already the case via GmG.

Oh I also forgot to say, while wolf among us was shorter(and honestly felt like my choices didn't really impact the story much) I enjoyed it a lot more than the walking dead season 2, it was a lot more interesting.

Max Payne 3 and LA Noire didn't hold a premium price for long, and GTAV is a late port of a late port of a game that'll be 18 months old at release and has already sold +35 million copies. It's going to quickly reach its saturation point on PC, and given Rockstar's history of aggressively slashing prices, you can bet that you'll be able to buy that game for less than $20, probably around $15 before the year is over.

in regards to your second point, of course. Same as how Uplay keys for ubisoft games tend to drop earlier and faster than their steam counterparts.

I personally didn't even have the patience to finish TWD S1 Episode 1.

Loved Wolf Among Us, though.

Wolf Among Us is set around 15-20 years before the comic book, so they have plenty of room to work. I'd bet my arm there will be a season 2.

oh really? that one is my favorite, if i was to rank em it would be Walking Dead season 1 > Wolf Among Us >>>>>>>>>> Walking Dead season 2

TWD S2 isn't bad mind you, its just not as interesting as the first and there was practically no likeable characters in it. Honestly I don't think I'll purchase season 3 after season 2 though.

We'll see. I feel confident in saying this is quite different to those games. I also really don't think the delays of the PC version are for "extra work" but rather just to maximise sales per platform.
