The thing I'm most curious about of "All-New Marvel" is if Spider-Gwen will become the Gwen Stacy of the main Marvel Earth or if her book will continue to take place in an alternative universe like the old Spider-Girl series did.
And if she does become the original Gwen Stacy then what would the backstory be? That she got bit by the same spider that bit Peter? But then wouldn't silk be a redundancy? Dan Slott better resolve his BS fast cuz All-New Marvel aint got time for that

Silk is already a redundancy. We have Hipster J-Drew now, Silk is not required. She will be fridged or put on a bus like Carlie Cooper soon enough anyway.

Her series is starting in her universe, and, since there's only a couple of months between then and Secret Wars, I don't think they'd waste the first couple of issues there if she's just going to the mainline universe, especially since they could probably just do that at the end of Spider-Verse instead.

Alpha just sucks. It's awful that they wasted a Superman vs. Spider-Man homage cover on that guy. But he's a dude, and created by Slott, so I could see him showing up in the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon eventually.

Honestly, it feels like Marvel NOW and the past few years of the Ultimate line was basically letting creators go hog wild and do whatever they wanted with the characters since its all getting reset anyway.
That's why we have the original X-Men teamed up with Ultimate Spider-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy hanging out with the current X-Men, female thor, crazy evil iron man, old man rogers, etc.

Going to make an attempt at Sandman over the weekend. Doubly so as I'm not going to stay up for the Superbowl this year as apparently it's going to be a snoozer of a game and the half-time act couldn't possibly be any worse. Plus my body clock will turn on me after Royal Rumble last week and Conor McGregor the week before that. Maybe start iZombie and catch up on Ms. Marvel as well.

just discovered there's a library like 5 minutes away from my house at most, and they have some comics. Checked out Cable & Deadpool + Ellis Secret Avengers. I have high expectations for both, despite Deadpool being involved.

I just enjoy the spectacle of the Superbowl. Can't do 4-5AM for the third week in a row anyway. The cold at the jawb makes me fall asleep even after a lie-in on the Monday.
I like football myself, I just have to stick to Match of the Day because I cut the cord and there's no way I'm paying Sky 80 a month just for live Raw and a few football games.
