Just rewatched the trailer from the OP in HD and wow, liking it the more I watch it. Really similar to Catherine in certain areas, not that its a bad thing. Dunno how I feel about the design of the female character yet, not a huge fan of her look. MC looked pretty damn badass at certain segments, though I hate the curly looking hair during gameplay.

Just oozing style though, cant wait for more info and hoping for more characters. The cast of the previous Persona games made me love the games, hope the same for P5.

knew it was gonna be big. But this blew me away. Loving the more mature feel of the game. Like that the dungeons are no longer just corridors with random enemies. It has verticality.

The new cat looks awesome and just in general the redish grey look on themes with the high detailed and crowds look amazing. Reminds me a lot of Catherine.

Man... this game really looks awesome. Can't wait. It HAS to come to ps4.

Makes me want to get into the Persona series but I have no idea where to start.
I dabbled with what I think was the first game on a friend's PS1 for like 10 minutes before getting lost in the town, but from things I've heard and especially now with this, I really want to know what are the critical games to play in order to not be totally completely lost.

You can play them in any order. The stories are self contained.

Too hard to tell. The jackets looks the same, but the first guy is wearing a light colored shirt underneath and the MC has a dark shirt.

But Catscot wasn't in the initial part of the opening so I don't think that's a direct indicator of how big the party will be.

and that is putting it lightly. The wait has payed off, and this is just a scratch of the surface. I can't wait to see how deep things go. Customization i am sure will be extensive, maps, worlds, characters, relationships...

I wonder how mature the relationships will be. Catherine really pushed the envelope there, and this reminds me a lot of that game.

Even if this game isn't very good for whatever reason, at least I can say it has quite possibly some of the coolest menus ever. Also, I liked that part where they were sitting around a table in an empty coffee shop planning the heist.

Everything oozes style while honestly feeling so incredibly different from all personas that came before it.
