21./21. [3DS] Nanatsu no Taizai: The Seven Deadly Sins - Unjust Sin (Bandai Namco Games) {2015.02.11} - 5.089 / 50.782 (+51%)

Nice mark.

Looks like the KanColle PS Vita game has been delayed to August?... did we ever get to see anything about the game?

I doubt Hori would just delay this special pack if the game wasn't too.

Nope, there hasn't been a single screenshot since it was announced back in 2013. I'm expecting eternal vaporware.

?????

That has nothing to do with the game? It's just a Hori accessory pack with Kancolle anime visuals.

Am I understanding this picture wrong, or is the 3DS version cheaper than the Wii U version?

Looks like it.

How's the game work in Japan, anyway? It's a proper retail disc/cartridge unlike the rest of the world, right? Does it still come with a download code for the other system?

You get a download code for the other version, it says so on the box. But I believe the game itself is physical.

And thanks for the pics hiska-kun.

Not surprised to see the 3DS version sold cheaper... I mean, it's the most popular platform by far, so sales should be much better than on Wii U (so they can make more profits even by selling the game cheaper)

It will become the best selling Vita game in Japan.

Not jk

only if you combine digital + retail I think

oh, I was reading that PS3 and PSV are crossbuy, so probably we will never know PSV numbers.....

ps : yes, it was Yamada Denki Ikebukuro, I was looking for a D-Terminal PS2/PS3 cable for my PS2

Curious to see how the game is going to sell, since it's already been available on PSN for quite a while now (aka: how many people were waiting for a retail version and how many are going to double-dip).

Also surprised Sony didn't manage to get a retail version for the PS4, would have helped with the post Bloodborne weeks.

Yes, I was talking in general.

We have this until February 2015 (included):

[PSV] Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition [Digital Version] <ADV> (Mojang AB) (¥2.057) - 231.330

Halfway.

Other versions:

[PS3] Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition [Digital Version] <ADV> (Mojang AB) (¥2.057) - 253.283
[PS4] Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition [Digital Version] <ADV> (Mojang AB) (¥2.057) - 63.229

What's with the recent fixation on low budget kids' anime titles?

I'm just pointing out the existence of titles that otherwise few, or no one, would talk about, and that might be relevant in terms of sales, at least in their niche. After all, sometimes we talk a lot about titles that eventually sell less than 100k.

Yes, Minecraft Vita could really be big in the incoming weeks.

Sony took so long to get it onto the Vita.
I think I remember a lot of people in the older threads , advocating the release of Minecraft on the Vita with bundles and marketing . It could sell huge on the Vita. I guess those posters were right .

I don't know, I think it won't have an amazing start right out of the gate, just because it's already been available digitally for a long time. However, it should have very very very long legs.

Because Mario Party 8 sold as much as all Mario Party's on GCN combined? :p

Not to forget that Mario Party DS is the most succesful entry.

Code:
NDS	Mario Party DS 9.310.000 Dec 2013
Wii	Mario Party 8 8.850.000 Dec 2013
Wii	Mario Party 9 3.110.000 Dec 2013
N64	Mario Party 2.700.000 Dec 2006
N64	Mario Party 2 2.480.000 Dec 2006
GCN	Mario Party 4 2.460.000 Dec 2006
GCN	Mario Party 5 2.150.000 Dec 2006
GCN	Mario Party 7 2.040.000 Dec 2006
N64	Mario Party 3 1.910.000 Dec 2006
GCN	Mario Party 6 1.630.000 Dec 2006
3DS	Mario Party: Island Tour 1.140.000 Mar 2014

Had all of them done over a million until now?
Sheesh

What software library?

These are Wii U releases for first quarter of 2015

[WIU] Kirby and the Rainbow Curse <ACT> (Nintendo) {2015.01.22} (¥3.996)
[WIU] LEGO Marvel Super Heroes <ADV> (Warner Entertainment Japan) {2015.01.22} (¥5.616)

[WIU] Mario Party 10 # <ETC> (Nintendo) {2015.03.12} (¥5.616)
[WIU] Mario Party 10 (amiibo Set) <ETC> (Nintendo) {2015.03.12} (¥6.156)

[WIU] Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars <PZL> (Nintendo) {2015.03.19} (¥3.024)

[WIU] Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (amiibo Set) <ADV> (Nintendo) {2015.03.26} (¥5.076)

I meant the library at this point in its life, not its upcoming lineup. At least in the west it's up, despite no releases for a while. though it's up like a tiny %

Reading retailers blogs, it seems that Hype-0 is overshipped.

Still, there's a brave fight between Battlefield, REvelations 2 and the FFXV demo for the first spot. The platform split, as always:
Japanese game PS3>PS4
Western game PS4>PS3

Minecraft Vita seems to be selling well (below the others though) and legs are expected.

GamesMaya First Day Top 3

1. [PS4] Final Fantasy Type-0
2. [PS4] Battlefield Hardline (this week's Dark Horse)
3. [PS3] Resident Evil Revelations 2 (the PS3 version is the main)

Tomodachi wa Mahou
Why would BF be a dark horse? 3 and 4 both sold well over 100k their first week. They aren't Call of Duty big but its been a big franchise

It would be interesting to see, if the new owners of PS4 would be interested in DQH. Not to mentioned the fact that we will finally know, how many X1 owners are interested in FF.

I don't understand why only the Vita version is getting a retail release.

I'm going to assume you're wondering why the PS4 version isn't getting a retail release. Could be the same reason it took them like six months to put the Vita version out at retail in Japan. Could be that they saw how it was performing digitally, as well as games like Terraria (which got a day/date PS4 retail release) and decided it wasn't worth it. The Vita version is the fastest selling one, so that at retail makes complete sense.

SEGA Sammy released a new report for SEGA Networks, they are making a killing in mobile.

http://www.segasammy.co.jp/english/pdf/release/sgn_presentation_e_20150220.pdf

Things to note from the report;

- The group to release 20 new mobile titles the following fiscal year.
- Development of 20 broken down as, 10 SEGA Networks, 5 SEGA, 5 co-developed/published
- Revenue expected to be 31.4 billion yen, up 10.5 billion yen from last year (Actually already above last year with the first 3 quarters.)
- Ange Vierge will be joining Chain Chronicle and getting an anime produced
- Sonic Dash has recorded 98 million downloads, total Sonic series has 143.5 million downloads
- Interesting one, Ignited Artists which is "comprised of experienced PC online/home video game developers" set to release a new title next fiscal year. I wonder if that hints at a MMO rather than a mobile title?
- NOAH Pass has gone from launch in August 2013: 15 developers to 88, 20 million users to 89.1 million

I mean, you can't say for sure that GTA's guaranteed to be bigger.
San Andreas was bigger (than everything prior to V, though it's Vice City when including budget releases), but then it went down for IV.

Maybe the gen transition will hurt VI as well.
