The people have spoken. You just have to accept reality.

First you're scared to find out and now you must know. Make up your mind.

It's called 'sweets×2 sleeping' where you'll discover something truly shocking:
the source was completely sfw all along.

Hmm I predicated this happening an episode earlier. Ah well.
Shocking that Ginko really did savage and kill all those girls at the school, I didn't think she would actually do that.

I never liked Madoka, I thought it was okay. Episode 10 was a nice episode however, but I never watched the films. Even so, I still ended up buying one of those big Ultimate Madoka figures :$ Fuck.

Despite how I think about the ending of Madoka Rebellion (which I thought was just kinda meh) it's definitely worth watching for the imagery alone.

What a visual feast that film was.

It feeds into how the hate and the prejudice is feeding into a never ending cycle of violence between Bear and Human.

Well that sounds like a terrible idea.

Sounds awful

No thanks.

This sounds less like Madoka than what I've been told Rebellion is like!

Movie 4 will have that and also undo the ending of Rebellion and have the ending us Rebellion haters wanted from Rebellion. Calling it now. It will be the total opposite of Rebellion and I'll cry tears of joy watching it.

I'll then read the impressions of it here and then proceed to cry tears of laughter.

Great episode. Kind of reminded me of the episode of SBY2199 when Yuki and Kodai wander around the abandoned Yamato and stuff from their past gets brought up.

Poor Chirico. The reveal that he had never drank alcohol before was poignant, as you would think someone so haunted by his PTSD would never stop drinking.
...And then he immediately starts to drown himself in his sorrows, drinking straight from the bottle. So sad.

This is one of the weirdest love stories I've ever seen, as both parties seem to be completely devoid of the emotion at all.

Undoing the ending of Rebellion implies it needs fixing. It's not 3.33. If they do plan on continuing it (which I'm sure they will, unfortunately) they should've never done such an ending to begin with, as you can't really backpedal on a "Fuck You" ending like that. It's like if they made a sequel to End of Evangelion so they could make it a happy ending.

Which it does.

I agree.

as you can't really backpedal on a "Fuck You" ending like that.

Sure you can. A new conflict has arisen, the next movie should focus on resolving that conflict.

It's like if they made a sequel to End of Evangelion so they could make it a happy ending.

The difference between this and EoE is that End of Evangelion (from my understanding anyway) was an alternate ending sort of thing.

Rebellion is something that directly continues the story and leaves it at an inconclusive non-ending to something that had an ending that was, while still kind of open-ended, conclusive enough on its own.

There SHOULD be a sequel to wrap this up and give things an appropriate resolution.

When I saw the original Madoka TV Series, I saw "The End".

When I saw Rebellion, I saw "To be Continued".

Hell, Rebellion itself
hints at things not ending there, so a sequel to Rebellion to resolve the conflict is very appropriate.

No, EoE is the ending. It's called "End of Evangelion". In a way it is sort of an alternate ending since it's different from the TV ending, but EoE was the end they had in mind to begin with. EoE also continues directly from the end (at least before the last two episodes, their placement in time is odd) of the TV series. It's an apt comparison, one I see people make a lot.

Rebellion ending on a non ending is fine for me. The statement that one day
Madoka will wake up and realize what's going on
is something I don't need to or want to see resolution to. It's fine as is, because I really doubt anything they could come up with would make a better ending while at the same time undoing what happened in Rebellion without coming off as forced or something they did to get themselves out of a corner.

There's some amazing framing shots throughout the episode which really help highligh the change throughout but I'm no good at analysing that kind of think so I've not brought it up.

It's not that they're devoid of emotion as such, it's just they are both utterly inexperienced at feeling anything outside the field of battle and how to express it.
If they felt nothing, they wouldn't be struggling so much to reach each other.

We actually had a pretty good run of giving serious, sincere recommendations to new people until Cross Ange came out.
Cross Ange can be considered a serious recommendation just as much as Ping Pong can since recommendations by their very nature are subjective.

People aren't obligated to like Ping Pong or dislike Cross Ange.

just in case you guys didn't already know chitoge > every other girl in nisekoi combined. excited for s2!

The problem with Nisekoi is that there should only be two teams in the first place, #TeamChitoge and #TeamOnodera. The show got frustrating when all these other people showed up.

But really, when you think about it, it shouldn't even be two teams. It should just be one team, #TeamOnodera.

Guys, I'm looking for shows that begin with C and ends in e. Any suggestions? Doesn't have to be one word by the way.

Well, to each his own I suppose.

But for me, I won't be satisfied until I get some closure. Until then, I will always dislike Rebellion. I believe that SHAFT can come up with a satisfying ending that doesn't come off as forced or contrived. I honestly think that
the new scenario they created can pave the way for a great movie (or new season, depending on what they do). There's lots of things they can work with coming off Rebellion.
Ending it the way they did with no current plans for a sequel is the real factor on what makes me really salty about this third movie.

Urobuchi sure wasn't kidding when he said this movie would split the fanbase.

Kimi ni Todoke S1 - So somehow when I first got CR I watched S2 but not 1 (I think because CR surfaces the most recent stuff first and I did not note at the time).

Anyway I finally started watching S1. Guess I was looking for some shojo that I hadn't seen but knew was good.

Binged the first 6 episodes. Man with the end of that arc, it did as they say get dusty in the theatre. And I'd forgotten just how great Sawako is. And for that matter Yano and Yoshida.

I'm not saying that Cross Ange can't be recommended sincerely. But a lot of people recommending it aren't being sincere.

It also seemed to me to reopen the doors to the old hatewatch culture that drove people to push School Days onto others back in the past.
