You Aussies do realise we've got bigger grounds than the two rugby stadiums, right? Hagley Oval is a good sized ground and we scored 331 there in the opening game. It's not like McCullum only barely squeaks the ball over the boundary.
Still, you guys are definitely the favourites. It'll be a great game, better than this one I'm sure.

Is this channel 9 being channel 9, or is there sonething else going on with the broadcast rights that might cause that? ABC's audio stream cuts off pretty quickly after the non AUS games.

Can't wait for Sunday. I want and think australia will win, I've always thought they were the best in team in the cup, but if we lose to New Zealand I won't be too upset. I don't know any kiwis well so I could live with them winning.

A shame the game wasn't closer. But judging by how the summer went, India was punching above its weight by reaching the semi-finals.

From what I understand, yesterday was the backup day if the other semi was rained out or similar.

You can look at it that way, or you can look at it like Australia are very hard to beat at home.
England couldn't do it, India, Sri lanka and Pakistan couldn't either. South Africa beat us once in five matches. They are all the odis played in the last six months.

Nah the paid stream. The quality has gotten lower in the knockout stages and today it was really bad. No HD, very pixilated, very hard to watch on my big tv. Even on my mobile devices it looked bad. Emailed them about it and they apologised saying that especially todays game was hard on their servers so they were "adjusting" the bit rates to deal with it. Sadly they have been doing that for other games too.
I just hope the final is back to the full hd quality cause I won't get to watch a replay if there is a problem as the subscription for the stream ends just hours after the final. Its a shame they don't let it end a few days later so those of us that bought the stream can watch the final if we can't or the connection issues continue.
Yeah. I really don't know where this idea stems from. People can't be in a relationship and still be successful? What bullshit. I guess India's still conservative on the idea of non-marital relationships because some of the other players (e.g. Dhoni, Dhawan) are married and have partners as well yet their presence (or lack of) is never a news story (and it shouldn't be).

Yeah wasn't sure if it was because they are not married, if that is a problem in Indian culture.
Or if it was some sort of superstition like whenever she is at the ground he goes badly.
My personal opinion is that bowlers now know that bowling length delivery to the six or seventh wicket ties him down enough to either nick it going for a drive or taking a risk on another shot to get his scoring going. It's not the best weak zone for a test no 3 so he'll have to work on that.
