The Asian girl from Pacific Rim got this on lock
Just throwing out ideas
I know she isn't chinese
Think she might be too old for the role.

In this world I can see it happening unfortunatelyCan't wait for Jennifer Lawrence to land the role.
I think they doing this just see how money they can make off the Chinese market. Since they had a Mulan movie that came out some years ago.
Disney will get Chloe Bennet to play Mulan. She's Asian but not Asian enough to keep white audiences from being unable to relate to a Chinese fairytale character. Plus, they already have a relationship with her. It's a win/win/win!
Edit: I forgot that she's a singer, too, so she could do the songs. I was joking at first but this doesn't actually sound like a bad idea.
This actually sounds plausible.
Can't wait for all the live-action princesses to team up in an Avengers-style movie

You mean like Kingdom Hearts: The MovieThis is just crazy enough to work.
I'd imagine Disney would want to stay somewhat close to their animated movie and not make something completely differentI don't know how I'd feel if I see Mulan speaking English in Live-Action...
For the love of God, no pet cricket or comedian dragon.
Ang Lee presents Disney's MulanThey should make this a Chinese co-production; there'd be so much money coming from over there.
And have John Woo direct.
I wonder if they're thinking about how to squeeze the China market. Or did they run out of western fairytales?
So which white guy will they cast as General Shang?
Jake Gyllenhaal ain't busy
No no, JGL was born to play Aladdin

A) Isn't that plot of the first Kingdom Hearts game?
B) This needs to happen
This sounds cool and I'm not actually bummed out by the whole live-action reimagining thing yet, I think Disney have used it to play out some cool concepts and this is a great opportunity so I hope this turns out good.
Heck, get Donnie Osmond to play the Captain. It doesn't even matter that he's a white guy who's way too old for the part, as long as he gets that song in there.I would also prefer it if they kept Make a man out of you in the movie
If Disney actually creates the movie using nothing but an all cast of Chinese folks, I will watch it day one.
If not then they can forget it.
Too white to play an Arabian character.
What's left with the recycle old Disney animations into live action list
