At the lamp in the cathedral, if you turn left you're gonna be at a square. In that area take the right way, and you're gonna see a staircase. A giant will be walking there so take care. At the top of it, there's the gate!
The 1st and 2nd bosses were way easier then this 3rd boss, imo!
If you want a hint:
stack some souls and buy some pungent blood cocktail, for 2k each with the messengers in the hunter dream. During the fight, throw it to him and he will start to atack that direction ignoring you for a little time... enough for you to attack him and maybe even backstab.
Also, I would recommend to call a co-op partner. Call it near the lamp and make your way to the boss with the shortucts.
You probably took other way. The same happened to me... I took a different path, had access to the boss, did not unlock the gate and could not summon no one till I unlocked it.
out of 4 umbilical cords, and supposedly you need 3. I killed Iosefka before the red moon and the prostitute I never sent to oedon chapel, I sent her to Iosefka. Does
this mean I'm locked out of the true end boss?
Side note:
Ebrietas
is bullshit.
I counted, I think she has like 20.000 HP. Still stuck on her, and I found the best strategy is to actually
cheese her from the back, just keep mashing. Using an electric saw spear. Too bad her next forms drop me in 5 seconds.
I need some advice, I'm considering reloading a PS+ save (and losing all of today's progress which would suck, about 1h30 of it).
Here's what happened (early to mid-game spoilers):
I died to a bag man. I got carried into the Unseen Village area. I explored a bit, immediately found the boss, and killed it super easily. I did NOT find the lamp, missed it.
Now I can't go back upstairs because you drop down from a platform to reach Darkbeasdt Paarl. I returned to the Hunter's dream via the Paarl lamp, returned to visit another bagman, and deliberately died to him, but I just respawned normally.
I know you can reach this area later in the game, but it's really pissing me off. Will I miss some cool secrets/loot? Is that worth reloading for?
I initially went for a pure Strength tanking build, as I always start Souls games that way. Bloodborne feels super limiting with this type of build though. I don't make good use of guns at all and some of the coolest weapons seem more Skill based.
Tips for how to allocate points from here on out or what I should focus on for my next character?
I'm using +5 holy blade at level 41....I rush him right at the start and get underneath. Once he gets away it seems impossible to get back under him. I also have zero vials but i'm just trying to get his pattern down and can't. If I go farm vials im gonna blow through em fast....guess i'll level for a while...still have another boss near Cathedral Ward.
Defeated Rom. Bullshit fight. Glad it's over though. My big issue now is that I've only just found out about Eileen the Crow, but given how much progress I've made, I'm not sure where to find her. Any ideas? D:

finished the Lecture Hall 2nd Floor. When I leave, it takes me to the Nightmare Frontier, which I've already been through and beaten Amygdala. Where should I go next??

THESE ARE END BOSS SPOILERS, turn back if you don't wanna see.
Second to last boss fight was pretty good, I got my ass kicked for about two hours.
Then I found a really good method of finding his parry window, whenever he would swing forward he would swing forward and lunge at me again. I would dodge back of the first swing, then instantly shoot as he was going for the second lunge, giving me a V.Attack.
Last boss, which I guess is an old god or something, was pretty easy, but in nature of Souls games bosses aren't hard for the sake of being hard, they always fit in with the lore and story, so to have a final boss who is basically an old god pulling the strings not be the toughest fight is respectable.

You know what I love so much. When you level up a bit and you start dropping enemy's from old areas in one hit and you start having a bit of swagger in your step and then some dude walks up to you and rips your head off.
I just super cheesed that fucking hunter who killed E
ileen
and had crazy high health.
You can drop down behind him and slowly walk up to his back for a charge attack them visceral hit combo, then run up the stairs and escape up the ladder to safety. I did it five times.
Maybe he was that hard because my insight is up to 19? Maybe I should spend some of it.
Nightmare of Mensis? because I can't figure out where the way to the second level is and I've beaten Amygdala and unlocked all the doors on the first floor.

You have enough str to wield the cannon, so blondtinge might be good. Could level up arcane. But really just what weapon do you wanna use? That kinda determines what you wanna do next
This weapon type is my second favorite in the series, I was about to buy it thinking it was a skill weapon. This burns, unless I say fuck it and just level up this character past 125 or whatever people want to cap at now.
