On an exercise machine it's held in place by thick plastic and three long, sturdy prongs. This is super awful and my heart goes out to them. A relative of mine lost a toddler to something similar with a pullcord on some blinds. You just can't proof everything and it only takes a minute or two.

I got a 3 year old brother. This story just, I dunno. When I hear about a prostitute's head getting cut off, I don't care and can't relate, but when it's a little kid, it just makes me sick to my stomach, makes me want to never let my brother out of my sight, you know? And it's tough, because to an extent you have to resist that impulse if you want to raise a free-thinking, independent kid.

On my old tread the key use to come out easy, but you still had to squeeze both sides, otherwise it could hang a child.

I am gonna assume she got wrapped in the treadmill safety cord and wasnt heavy enough to dislodge the key/sensor. My parents have a treadmill where the key is attached via a string that allows the treadmill to activate. They had a problem with one of their hounds jumping and grabbing it and then it getting tangled in their collar... I hope the best for their family =(

Some very sad news to report. According to a report published by Pallaxo, Mike Tyson's 4 year old daughter, Exodus Tyson, who was admitted to Hospital yesterday, has passed away.
An employee of St. Joseph's Hospital who wished to remain anonymous, told the publication that Tyson's daughter died shortly after Midnight, Tuesday Morning.
According to the report by Pallaxo, the Doctors at St. Joseph's Hospital attempted to resuscitate, but after 10 minutes the child was declared dead.
Earlier reports stated that on Monday Exodus was playing on a treadmill when she got tangled in a cord that was attached to the console. She was found by her brother unconscious. The child's mother called emergency services and attempted CPR before Exodus was rushed to the hospital. She was put on life support and fell into a deep coma.
Tyson who was in Las Vegas at the time of the tragic accident, rushed by plane to get to Phoenix to be with his daughter.

This is goddamn awful. A little girl who barely started living, pass away in an accident so random. Shit, it ruined my day. I mean, you are 4 and you're a playing on a treadmill. Nothing bad is supposed to happen to you and she died.

But the first thing I see in the picture is Tyson's big belly. He's finally become a true American.
Hope she gets through this and it'll probably be the last time she ever goes near a treadmill!
